Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Ultron replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
They’re really attached to this Carnage fig, huh? Wave is a 5/10 at best. Can’t really justify buying any of this. Ill just bricklink the figures like I have been with this theme for a while bow. Sigh. -

Even if that was coming, I doubt it. Most licensed CMFs just arent made to be army builders of any kind, imo, given the selection -

I dont think they could make his TIE at that price without massively underscaling it some extent. The thing was pretty large and given the special wing functions I think that would require a higher piece count. I wouldn’t hold your breath -

What a garbage line up..maybe some of the builds will turn out alright, but I can’t for the life of me understand why they refuse to make prequel and clone wars sets especially given how well the two CW ones we got this wave have sold so far. Very tired of the OT; we dont need anymore X-Wings or Ties..I’ll likely pass on all this except for perhaps the Mandalorian set. -

Gotta be honest I was pretty sad to see Superheroes not break TLG's top 6 (?) selling themes, but I can't say I'm shocked. The quality was just not there compared to the themes that did better. I think this current wave was definitely one of the stronger ones even if they leaned a bit too much into the kiddish builds, but I'd like to see some further course correction for this theme. Whatever they've been doing with Spider-man and Batman clearly wasn't working as well as it could have. I myself did not buy a lot of the sets because they had really nothing to offer. Largely bad builds and figs for the past 2ish years, imo. I gladly picked up a few of these Avengers ones, but that's because the builds and the figs were there. -
Great to see this theme place in TLG's top selling themes! Happy to see the designers hard work really pay off. I can only imagine this current wave will do even better for them. Can't wait to see what sets will come next especially since it's outperforming some of our other evergreen themes. Hoping after Year 7 they circle back and fill in all the gaps! 20 year younger me would be over the moon right now

Apologies if it’s been asked (if it has I cant find it,) but will the Burrow be going on sale as well alongside Diagon Alley? Im confused as to why it’s the only set still marked as “coming soon” on the Lego Shop. I’ve been waiting to order the sets till they’re all out

Unless she was a giveaway exclusive there’s nowhere else this Ginny could appear. Giving her a pony patronus instead of a full sized horse would be foolish and inaccurate, imo. If you want to give her a patronus just use the water horse from the Frozen 2 sets.

Incredible wave yet again. And there’s still s few more sets to see if I recall correctly

I mean she could easily come with Arnold, her pygmy puff. Gryffindor chaser with molded quaffle.

This series looks like another fantastic set of figs! I am a little sad that a chamber of secrets set seems less and less likely now though

Yes, but he just had sets sprinkled here and there for the most part and not two large waves back to back. Stands out more to me when it's a lot of the suit at once rather than in one or two sets each year. -

Super late to the party here, but I'm looking at this newest wave of spider-man sets and it's kind of crazy how...derivative they are. There are only three new real characters here and near all the builds focus around Venom. I love Venom a lot!! BUT I don't understand the marketing decision to have both a Venom crawler and a Venom dino. If they're really going for a Venom-verse wave or something...they should have had like at least 4 more Venomized heroes and villains like Funko Pop has been putting out to great success for the past year. But not only are they derivative to themselves, they're very reminiscent to last years wave too...this is the exact same spider-man, no? Not even one new variant for him? I mean, you can milk Spider-man for decades with all (just Peter's) variants! No need to have the exact same suit two years in a row. Did the budget get cut in half or something? I thought it was bad last year seeing the huge step down from Infinity War to Endgame. Some of the builds aren't terrible. I personally love the venom dino. It's really weird, but fun. As I said I don't really like the idea of wasting a whole set on another venom vehicle (the venom crawler,) but I guess at least it's somewhat cool to have both a venom crawler and a Spidey crawler. They should have just been one set though. All in all these past two years have made me very nervous for the future of this line. It's hard for me to justify buying some of these. -

Honestly I love the venom dino. It’s very wacky, but well put together -

These sets will be coming out before the game so unless you're going to be avoiding Lego there's no point to spoiler tag them.
