Bobskink Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I finaly painted this custom. I'm happy with the last minute spear idea. Crapy pictures I know, but my PC is still not 100% okay to edit the pictures. Quote
The Rancor Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Schwartzeneger would be proud to battle an alien as good as this. *In the Arnie voice* You must be Annihilated! Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Nice work, i like how you kept the simplistic lego feel in it. Quote
LuxorV Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Great job! Neat painting and clean look LuxorV Quote
Rayman Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 The helmet looks so clean! I also think that you sculpted those strands of hair very well. The detail is very pronounced and clear, people who have attempted this figure in the past have made the hair look blobby. But I think that you nailed it : ) Quote

ED-209 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 "C'mon, kill me! What are you waiting for?!" LOL, I love it! I completely agree with Captain green hair; the head sculpt is the perfect "Legofication" of the Predator - simple enough to look like Lego, detailed enough to be instantly recognisable as the character. Very well done indeed! Now you just need to build Dutch! http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=30608 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=3626bpb204 (in flesh tone of course!) http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=973pb539c01 Dark green pants and a Brickarms rifle and you'd be set! Bobskink Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 Tose muscles you propose are not enough to represent a descent Ahnuld. But I will make one eventualy, when light flesh torso's get cheaper. Quote

You don't think so? Certainly Arnie is (well, was) much more muscular than the actor from Raiders that the figure is meant to represent, but I'd hate to see how much more over-muscled a minifig could get! Quote

Great work Bobskink, though the head seems a bit small. Quote

LuxorV Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 can you make me one? Please refer to my answer to your other posts to know how to behave here in the Minifig Customisation Workshop. LuxorV Quote
Bobskink Posted March 15, 2009 Author Posted March 15, 2009 Thanks for the compliments guys. @ bobey you are a litle whinny, but I also take it as a compliment, so thanks. If you really want me to make a custom for you, send me a PM, I somethimes sell some of them on eBay to finance my Lego. But you can also try to make one yourself. Like the other people mentioned, there are a lot of good guides here on this forum and other forum. Your first customs will not look that great, but you will see, after only a few atempts you will get mush better at it. Which reminds me, I realy need to updat this topic, I'm a litlle a shamed for that Queen amidala, I've made mush better versions now. I'll try to post them this evening. Quote
