Richard Dower Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Is there a list or inventory showing sets and MOC's and the part counts from high to low? I know 42009 is the largest official set with 2606 pieces (excl. spares) What about MOC's?....gotta be sets in the 3 to 5,000 part range out there....... Quote
Sariel Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 The boats by VFracingteam go up to 40k pieces, if you consider them Technic. Quote
Balrog Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) I guess it depends on what you look at. I believe the biggest MOCs that have instructions are from Sheepo. Landrover and manual GT500 with ~3.5k parts, PF GT500 ~4k parts. Other MOCs like the ships from VFRacingteam with several 10000 parts. Someone built a huge coal excavator with ~35k pieces. https://www.youtube....h?v=OyZwZjFPJk4 Edited September 4, 2014 by Balrog Quote

Madoca's awesome Wing Body Truck has 4126 parts. That's the biggest one I've built. Sheo's Terex RH400 (haven't built this one yet) has even more at 4347. Both have (free!) instructions. jantjeuh Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Don't buy your parts off Ebay, use Lego Shop (as mentioned above) or Bricklink/BrickOwl instead. Will save you a lot of money. I got 40 LBG panels for 30 EU or something like that. Quote

Jeroen Ottens Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Wasnt there a big Leiber 1200 crane MOC that was over 6,000 pieces? You mean this one? http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=89963&hl=ltm11200 this has about 6000 pieces, but the boom is still not finished, so the piece count will go up a bit when I finish this (Christmas holiday needed) My Hindenburg also is around the 7000 piece mark: Quote
Richard Dower Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 Hi Jeroen!...yes it was your AWESOME Leiber 1200 i was thinking about, hopefully you get round to finishing it...and maybe we can get a part list and instructions. To me this is THE ultimate crane, forget 42009 or any mods...nothing can beat your 1200 :-) You mean this one? http://www.eurobrick...963&hl=ltm11200 this has about 6000 pieces, but the boom is still not finished, so the piece count will go up a bit when I finish this (Christmas holiday needed) My Hindenburg also is around the 7000 piece mark: https://www.flickr.c...ens/6934023762/ Quote
nerdsforprez Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 My crane is 4180 parts. http://mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=383148&id=/user_images/100020/13943690501 I am sorry for not just posting pictures. I know that is preferred. I have an open forum under the "help" section" trying to get some help doing so. So far however, no recommendations have worked. New member... Zerobricks Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 (edited) My biggest model (with instructions) Fox has only like 1820 something parts EDIT The black wolf has 1999 parts due to all the antenna pieces used for fur. Edited September 5, 2014 by Zblj Quote
Milan Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 (edited) To me this is THE ultimate crane, forget 42009 or any mods...nothing can beat your 1200 :-) I think this can beat any lego mobile crane so far. The same that you mentioned, Liebherr ltm 11200 Built by LiftingBricks It is built with technic and system bricks and uses bigger wheels (24x43) than Jeroes's crane. Unfortunately it uses non lego turntable. Dont know haw many pieces, but probably more than 10000. Edited September 5, 2014 by Milan Quote
jantjeuh Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Yeah that crane is sick, but is disqualified by the custom parts used (turntable, actuator). Quote
nerdsforprez Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Also, I really would not qualify it is Technic. Yes, there may be Technic parts, but the overwelming majority of the parts are not technic. The SSD has a chassis built out of Technic, but also I would not consider a "Technic" model. Ditto for the UCS MF........ Quote
eliacip Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Hello. Instructions for building this set moc are on sale ? Quote
