karmajay Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Glad I'm not interested in that infiltrator. Yikes price/piece! Although I did buy the new space shuttle set... Quote
deskp Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) Rey looks great, but I hope the hair piece is just what's seen- literally looks like my real life hair, even down to the color. Unfortunately, I think she have a ponytail. shes got a variety of hoops in the back SO youre out of luck. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/fd/fa/d0/fdfad0f44628ca818c13821f2afeddf1.jpg http://cdn1.theweek.co.uk/sites/theweek/files/2015/04/150427-daisy-ridley-txt.jpg Edited July 10, 2015 by deskp Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 According to brickset forums, we are getting an episode 7 c3po poly bag promotion later in the year for toysrus. I don't know if you guys have heard of this, but this is exciting news. Quote

Can't wait to see all the uses for that. Quote

duboismerci Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 WOW! I hope it's a mistake because 94$ US.... That is going to be close to at least 120$ (close to 140 with tax  ) in Canada. I usualy buy sets in the States but CAD dollar is really weak and it's not worth it anymore. I have to pay those ridiculous canadian prices. I wanted this set but a this price... Price are really getting ridiculous and it should get worst with Ep VII. I wanted all the sets of this summer wave but I think I'll pass. It's a good time to bail out from buying Lego SW at the dawn of a new trilogy... Even if I had the money I won't buy a set with a price per piece so high. Sorry for the rant but I really wanted this set and it seems I won't be able to get it... Quote
Tariq j Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 That Rey figure is excellent and very accurate, that new mould helmet looks.... Amazing! Quote
Dragonlego27 Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Geobrush ask the seller for more pictures of all the TFA figs, preferabout rey without holding the mask, and from the back. It looks like the seller's got the prices for the speeder in plastic bags, although I could be wrong. Hopefully we'll get to see that soon and find out if a third minifigure is included. I like the Rey figure, although I think her headpiece is more useful elsewhere. A cantina patron perhaps... Quote

Vodnik Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) The Sith Infiltrator price makes no sense whatsoever... Even compared "rumored" prices of TFA sets: 75101 First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter - 517 pieces £59.99, €76.99, $69.99 75102 Poe's X-wing Starfighter - 717 pieces - £69.99, €99.99, $79.99 The SI should cost between $70 - $80, but not $95 !!! My guess is that the "SRP" shown there is in fact a TRU price (as it is supposed to be TRU limited in the US) and the actual TLG MSRP may be lower than that. For example Death Star Final Duel is $79.99 from Lego, and $84.99 from TRU. But if the difference is only $5 then the Lego price will be $89.99 and this is still ridiculous... One more thing - has anyone noticed that the design of the actual Sith Infiltrator model is VERY different from the preliminary box art image that seats behind it?!... Why they didn't use the actual box art? But it explains the difference in the number of bricks - 630 was the preliminary number, while the actual set has 662. Edited July 10, 2015 by Vodnik Quote
General Magma Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 I don't get the absurd pricing for the Sith Infiltrator... there aren't even any new molds in it. Quote
Robert_88 Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 I can't believe this price :o Lego has always been expensive but the prices for most of the new sets are simply ridiculous. And in most cases you can't blame new molds or advanced techniques for this. I guess that's one of the downsides of Lego's success and popularity. They act as if they don't have to care about certain things anymore. Almost like a monopolist. :( Quote
Backgild Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Rey's mask and goggles look a bit big to me as well; however, based on the images we've seen, people have speculated that her goggles use salvaged stormtrooper helmet lenses. If this is true, perhaps the lego designers matched her goggles to the lego stormtrooper helmet. I'd really like to see them side by side. Quote
deskp Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) should note that all these lego star wars hemets are kidan big. But also that thers some perspective going on making it seem even bigger. New image of snowtrooper added to my gallery: Edited July 10, 2015 by deskp Quote

New image of snowtrooper added to my gallery: *snip* Indeed, the helmets look out of proportion. Hopefully a kama and backpack can diminish this a bit. Thank you for the minifigure line-up with their movie counterparts (aren't their alot of minifigures missing?), it helps to see them in the movie! Quote
deskp Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 aren't their alot of minifigures missing? Well im not doing the old crap, and the missing ones i jsut havent made yet. Here is fixed rey, The original fig looks like it has printing issues. Quote

Lego Dimensions has the base game for $60, 3 minifigures, and a couple of bricks for the base to make the full pack be $100. Quote

Jedi-Bendu Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) Hasbro unveiled the new TIE.....looking at it makes me think about the upcoming Lego version: almost everything will be the same as the last OT TIE I guess. What's interesting is the gun/antenna (?) on the left. Hopefully we'll see the Lego toy tomorrow! Edited July 10, 2015 by Jedi-Bendu Quote
Robianco Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 I'm really liking how things are tweaked slightly from the OT but different enough to feel like there has been at least a little bit of an evolution of their design. There's definitely a much more organic feeling to things with the ST... I hope this translates well into Lego sets... As well as being a cohesive and enjoyable trio of films. Quote
Fives Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 I'm really liking those white wings. Very excited to see how LEGO will do that (white pieces wouldn't look good, so they must have thought of something clever). So is the Infiltrator the only thing we getting a chance to see? Or is there a chance that they may reveal some stuff during the hall H panel? Quote
