Solscud007 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I got this for buying a RealD 3D ticket from AMC theaters. This figure is somewhat boring for me. I just got it for the hair piece with headphones. The face isn't anything special. It is the same robot face that you get on some of the Special Police. Just like the previous DJ collectible minifig, the hair is just a light brown color rather than black. The legs are nice if you like wallet chains and belt printing. No back printing or back head printing. Quote
Green Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 So awesome! I hope this lasts to Australia, we have to wait until April for the movie Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I really like this figure; in fact, I love all the 'disguised' robots in this wave of TLM sets (e.g. Executron, Wiley Fusebot, Sheriff Not-a-robot and Velma Staplebot). I just love them! Quote
Dorayaki Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Sorry to say I posted something similar before, but luck for you. Congrats. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) I haven't gotten it (I wish I have it) but I really do love that hire and I want it. The pants are really good, like the wallet chains and I do like the robot head as well. Edited February 9, 2014 by ShadowWolfHount Quote
escortmad79 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 This is available from The Odeon in the UK free if you purchase a kids meal for £3.25 (The also have the Pyjama's Emmet polybag in the same deal) Quote
obsidianheart Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I really, really want one of these, but none of the various promotions to get it are applicable for me. And I'm not going to pay $40-$50 dollars for one off Bricklink. Quote
Samiens Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Saw the movie yesterday and got one (they'd run out of Emmets so went into my nearest Odeon today and bought a kids deal just to get him). Wasn't particularly sold on the photos but in the flesh...metal...plastic its a really nice figure Quote
B-Lister Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Wish I could get one of these without paying through the nose. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I have just got the DJ Robot from the Lego Movie VideoGame that I gotten from Walmart website and it look great but I wish the hair was Brown so I can put it on my sig-fig but hair is still good and the Pants looks great. Quote
lifeinplastic Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I really hate these promotional figures - I have been countless times to buy one at the cinema but they never have any. No doubt staff have taken first pick, plus people buying in bulk to sell on at a later stage. Another kick in the teeth to lifelong Lego fans. GRRRRRRRR!!! Quote
B-Lister Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Definitely want this figure. Might try to trade for one. Quote
obsidianheart Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Picked one of these up for more than I'm normally willing to pay off of eBay. Glad I did. It is a fun figure with a lot of unique elements. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Definitely want this figure. Might try to trade for one. Or you can just buy the Lego Movie Videogame that have the DJ Robot on Walmart.com (if you have a PS3 or Xbox 360) but they only have the PS3 because the Xbox 360 one is out of stock. Quote
B-Lister Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 (edited) I do not play videogames. Edited March 8, 2014 by B-Lister Quote
