7153: Jango Fett's Slave I

First and foremost, I have never seen, much less owned the first LEGO Slave 1 (Boba's). This set is written pre-release

of the newer Boba version.

Secondly, apologies for tardiness

Good review of one of my favorite SW spaceships, thanks! *y*

I always loved its unique design and shape, and I like the color scheme

of this version very much.

I really would love to see an UCS edition of this marvelous ship.... :'-)

Great review for what was favorite ship from the 2002 line, i still love the look and feel of this set.

I remember being so disapointed with the boba slave 1 v1, so getting jangos version was greated with much delight. Of course since then weve had the fantastic boba slave 1 v2 which is better slighty than jangos, still jangos slave 1 will always hold a special place in my collection.

I have them both. I was hoping to get awy from Ep 2, though. Still, if that's what's wanted. AT-TE is next, then.

Great review Cap *y*

This was the ship that brought me out of the dark-age.

So there fore I like this one very much.

It always was one of my all-time-fav. ships from SW universe.

So when I saw this in the store there was no going back.

Not many days after I picked up Obi

Couldn't disagree more with your review. I think this was one of the worst SW sets I ever bought. It falls apart too easily, has little playablility, and includes little features. I did not like it at all.

P.S. I also have the AT-TE and RGS. They were the two really good EpII sets that came out. I think lego really let us down with those sets. I thought EpI weren't that great, but these were not good either. EpIII and OT are the best sets.

Oh well, we're all entitled to our oppinion. I stand by mine, yet respect yours. Why don't you do your own review?

Personally, I love my AT-TE, but wasn't impressed with the RGS, but maybe that's because of a negative eBay experience. I think Ep2 gave us some great sets. Bounty Hunter Pursuit? Jedi Duel?

I got that, but back then i didn't happen to be very responsible (or good at building) with my LEGO, so the pieces (And minifigures ;_;) are scattered throughout the house and some other places...

I have to say that although it was a good set (I like big and impressive ships), it still a few improvements : the nose was far too short in proportions of the main body, and the whole thing was full of holes (wow, what a paradox *wacko* )... But then, that's the magic of LEGO, we can just mod it to our own liking *sweet*

besides, those flaws have been dealt with in the latest version of Boba's Slave I (by far the best of the three)
