blackleaf Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Hi, I'm sharing my latest MOC which made for upcoming exhibition event of my forum. Hope you like it as well. The idea was inspired by the Movie - Batman Trilogy. I was trying to recreate the R & D department of Lucius Fox which located under the Basement of Wayne Tower. Furthermore, I added in something little more in this MOC - the Sewer where Bane and Poison Ivy hiding and planning something big and evil. Hope you all enjoying. The official Lego Tumbler from Lego 76001 The Bat vs Bane:Tumbler Chase Elevator which linked to the Lucius Fox's office Lucius Fox's office Lucius Fox - disguised by Lego Mace Windu XD " Bruce Wayne, as I live and breathe. What brings you out of cryo-sleep, Mr. Wayne?" quoted from the movie The Dark Knight Rises. Bruce Wayne with crutch " You haven't lost your sense of humor. Even if you have lost most of my money." quoted from the movie The Dark Knight Rises. Sewer part Bane and his henchmen Poison Ivy's Hideout Details: Bane and his henchmen In the movie The Dark Knight Rises, Bane and his forces were also planning to bomb the building and claim the Batman's weapon Poison Ivy's Hideout My favourite part Giant Cannibalism plant Giant weird flower Venom That's all~ Thanks for visiting and comments~ Quote
RaincloudDustbin Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Wow! The sewer is brilliant- the only bit Im not keen on is the transition of the office. Quote
Merc4hire95 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 This is all genius :) The amount of detail is beautiful along with its section based structure, makes for a perfect vignette. I especially like how you threw in poison ivy. Quote
Mutant Orc Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I really like this, the details are great. I suppose then that the floor doesn't break up and explode then as the MOC would loose stability? Really good! I love the plants. Only one complaint and that's the clone wars eyes. Wouldn't the black man's head from POP work better? (sorry I've forgotten the name) Quote
blackleaf Posted November 15, 2013 Author Posted November 15, 2013 (edited) Wow! The sewer is brilliant- the only bit Im not keen on is the transition of the office. Ya~ agree with you that the transition^^ Perhaps need to rethink on that part^^ I really like this, the details are great. I suppose then that the floor doesn't break up and explode then as the MOC would loose stability? Really good! I love the plants. Only one complaint and that's the clone wars eyes. Wouldn't the black man's head from POP work better? (sorry I've forgotten the name) The heaviest part (i.e. elevator) sustained by the wall brick below, but it still have to carry with care XD Ha~ is the theme with any black man minifigure? Let me go and check, properly it looks better than the Mace Windu XD Edited November 15, 2013 by blackleaf Quote
badbob001 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Lots of lovely details here. I'm surprised the floors can extend out so far and not bend a bit without support. I don't remember from the movie, but does the office window look down to the R&D department? If so, it may look better to expand the window wall more. And I didn't know the secret lab door leads to an elevator if you didn't mention it. Does the bookcase have a secret door to the elevator? Quote
singcaijia Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 That right,The amount of detail is beautiful along with its section based structure, makes for a perfect vignette. I especially like how you threw in poison ivy.thanks Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Great moc, I really like Poison Ivy's plant section. I've seen many mocs trying to depict a lab/garden scene for Ivy, but yours is by far the best. Hope to see more soon! Quote
Legoman123 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Really loving this moc! I think the section for Poison Ivy is a great idea. Quote
Manx Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Great MOC! Clean and well detailed! Really great job! Quote
TenorPenny Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I particularly like the details, like the air-con/vents. Quote
GandalfofHoth Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I have to agree with everyone here, the Poison Ivy room is amazing. I love the grates in the sewer and the the giant carnivorous plant. Great job! Quote
B Rick Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 I love it! Especially the clean style above contrasting the much going-on-style below. Big surprise! That sewer-scenery is awesome. Reminds me... I still have to build a cellarscenery for my haunted house... ;) Quote
Godtshep Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Love it! I'd love to make my own version! Ya~ agree with you that the transition^^ Perhaps need to rethink on that part^^ The heaviest part (i.e. elevator) sustained by the wall brick below, but it still have to carry with care XD Ha~ is the theme with any black man minifigure? Let me go and check, properly it looks better than the Mace Windu XD Actually, the Lando head would be better. Quote
talex Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Such a great setup with so many details in it, it was a pleasure checking all the photos up! Quote
El H Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Wow, at first it seems almost a bit too square and almost too much empty space but the details is where it shines and I'm really impressed. What I love: -tumbler service bay is awesome - a console for the hydraulic lift! -love the SNOT work benches and tool chests, clean and neat -SNOT lift door looks great. -extraction/ventilation fan units and lights are really well done construction wise. -neat, clean office and desk for Lucius Fox -SNOT sofa and bookcase look fantastic, really like it -Poison Ivy's garden looks really good, that red plant is a build style I haven't seen before -Screw gate valves and pipes in the sewers, detail really adds to immersion -Water effects are really good, maybe a little bright and clear considering it is a sewer. polite suggestions for improvement: -Two-face villains for Bane's henchmen? It's kind of jarring considering how the rest of the diorama is realistically based on TDKR, maybe use minifigs with tactical vests and muted tones. The tacky sunglasses faces and beanies don't look good either. -Bane is hidden up the back. I get that he's banging arms while his men do the work, but if you put him on a walkway over the water or something he'd be elevated and draw more attention. He should tower over his goons. (He's a big guy). Quote
rickfromkrypton Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Wow this is great. I love all the pictures. Quote
Jared Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Incredible moc, so much detail!! Very well done! Quote
