Lego Junkie Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 While looking for a good anime character to recreate in my signature Minidoll style, I stumbled across HOTD, or, High-school Of The Dead. While I don't watch anime at all, the artstyle translates very easily into the brick, and this character was just begging to be built. So, two days later, I've got one cutesy schoolgirl with a sword standing on my shelf. Alternator Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I have seen HOTD, not the most subtle anime/manga out there... I hadn't ever seen a manga character done in lego before, I'm very impressed by this, particularly the pose of it! Quote
Mutant Orc Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 It's very impressive as it works really well, it looks manga! Quote

I tried building the Gurren Lagann out of hero factory and bionicle once, I gave up when I couldn't find the right parts for the chest armor. Quote
DraikNova Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I've never seen the anime, this is an excellent MOC. Quote
WhiteFang Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 First word, that probably came out of my mind when I saw this MOC, is definitely 'kawaii'. Nice piece of work. Quote
Jetrax99 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I like the overall look, but that flat face just throws it off. Quote
