Wat Tambor Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Well, afer some years without my beloved LEGO (dark ages) I wanted to build something again. In my view this is one of the most remarkable scenes featuring Lieutenant of Minas Morgul, Gothmog himself in the movie "The Return of the King". I hope you like it. <<The age of Men is over. The time of the Orc has come!>> - Gothmog Quote
Seaber Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 IS that the Quatermaster Zombie head? Very nice scene! Truly looks like ruins :) Quote
Wat Tambor Posted May 18, 2013 Author Posted May 18, 2013 IS that the Quatermaster Zombie head? Very nice scene! Truly looks like ruins :) If you mean the head I used for Gothmog than it's not a Zombie head. That's the head of Yazneg (79002), because this piece reminds me of Gothmog. It's ok, but I hope that LEGO will release an official minifig of him next summer. Quote
Missing Brick Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Nice little MOC. Although I can't see TLG releasing this particular execution scene :) Quote
Kez Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Welcome to eurobricks, Nice little MOC you have built there, I like the ruined wall of Osgilliath which is captured well, the figures are also very nice, gothmog looks cool but I particularly like the moria Orc in the samurai armour with the round helmet (Hopefully next year lego will release a set with Gothmog in) Quote
Infernum Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Wow! . Amazing work! I really love your Gothmog fig! Hope to see more from you! Quote
TheLegoDr Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I can picture that scene in my head and I would say that the Yazneg head works rather well surprisingly. Nice little build. I think it captures the scene pretty well from memory. I'm sure in the future they will release him. They released Yazneg of all Orcs from Hobbit, so I can't see how they would skip over one of the few named Orcs in LOTR. Keep up the good work. Quote
brodey1 Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Great little build, and I love your custom Gothmog. The Yazneg head really fits him well. Quote
Doctor_ocks Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 They released Yazneg of all Orcs from Hobbit, so I can't see how they would skip over one of the few named Orcs in LOTR. I get the impression that the release of Yazneg was a mistake. It's seemed like they got confused between him and Aznog - by putting him on the white warg etc. nothing to back that up, just the impression I get. Great little build though! Quote
Propicz89 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Very nice MOC, it captures the scene very nicely. Quote
Wat Tambor Posted May 27, 2013 Author Posted May 27, 2013 (edited) I came back from a boat-trip with my family last weekend and it is really encouraging to read all this positive comments, now I'm at home. Glad to see that you like my little MOC. Edited May 27, 2013 by Wat Tambor Quote
