Night City Dream Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Hello, Could you please tell me where I can buy Legos in Stockholm. I am currently on a mission here and would like to benefit my free time looking for stores to watch and buy.
supersympa Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 If you want to buy overpriced Lego, Stockholm is THE city! in town center, you have the branch BR-Leksaker (one of the most overpriced toy store ever seen) They have a store in Gallerian and PUB store (Tube T-Centralen) they also have a store in Ringen (tube Skanstull) you have otherwise Toys R us in the south (kungens Kurva) and in the north (Backarby) but you need a car. both are close to an IKEA... another one (my favourite personally) is called BarnensHus they have a big shop in Nacka (south east of stockholm, you can take the bus to Nacka Centrum) but it is a bit of a drive if you do not have a car... In that Nacka Forum you also have a Br-Leksaker and a grocery shop called ICA MAXi where sometimes you find deals...but not very often... let me know if you need more info.
Jvvv Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 (edited) Hi supersympa, I'm also visiting Stockholm this weekend. Do you think it is worth of it to visit TRU or BarnensHus? Helsinki region in Finland has just had dozens of offers where last years sets are reduced -30-70%, will I find similar cheap prices or maybe not? I do not have my car with me, only SL's travel card, will it be worth of it to take a trip to Nacka or Kungens Kurva? :) Edit: Night City Dream: If you have time, I recommend visiting Model Team's cozy office in Bandhagen (www.modelteam.se), there you can meet a real Lego enthusiast with new and used Lego for sale (new sets usually same or little bit under catalog price, used sets BL priced). You can also buy BrickJournals and even ask for individual parts. It is open quite rarely (few hours couple of times a week), so check their web site carefully. Edited March 8, 2012 by Jvvv
