Does it come in black? by Brent Waller, on Flickr

So with the success of the recent Minecraft LEGO set on I thought I'd submit my custom lego batmobile I built back in 2008 when I came out of my dark ages.

I built custom instructions for the set using MLCAD (a LEGO CAD program) as well as making a camo version painted using vinyl dye.

Please check out my submission for it on cuusoo's website here and if you think it's worthy and would like to see it possibly come an official set, please vote for it.

To be clear licensed sets are permitted under their terms and conditions, if the set successfully reaches 10 000 votes LEGO will take care of licensing deals.

The link also contains images of the creation as well as links to the instructions and more info.

VOTE HERE

Also if you REALLY like it please twitter, Google+, Facebook, SMS, Phone, Telegraph, Smoke Signal it around the internets.

They looks nice, but I would prefer a set you can place minifigures in.

You can fit a batman minifigure perfectly inside it, complete with seat, steering wheel and dials. Pictures of this are on the cuusoo and flickr\mocpages links

Although they're very good designs. I'm sure that Lego are more than aware of the popularity of the tumbler, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if one is already being designed for the next wave of Batman sets. The number of votes for this is unlikely to sway Lego one way or the other, also how many people are actualy saying they'd like the military patterned one? This one is unlikely to be released as a regular set, so maybe that one on its own would have made a better Cuusoo project.

Ah, Wetwired I was trying to remember your username the other day. I want to thankyou for providing instructions to your brilliant design, your Tumbler is sitting proudly in my custom Batcave at the moment, so I'll gladly support this vote!

Batbrick Away!

thanks batbrick, I imagine some improvements could be made with LEGOs help, the front wheels aren't as strong as they should be and there is likely other improvements that could be made. One suggestion from CUUSOO website was the addition of a joker and circus truck and SWAT van companion vehicle which would be cool.

Perhaps the camo one could be a seperate set with a bruce wayne, lucious fox and a small computer console

Wetwired, if you put the camo one up separately, I'll definitely vote for it, especially with Lucius fig!

I probably should have done that at first but it's too late now and I don't really want to splinter the votes.

I did however add some descriptions for additional figs and vehicles\playsets

Suggested additional items:

Black version:

Vehicles: Joker's Circus Truck, SWAT Van

Minifigures: Batman, Joker, 2x Henchmen, SWAT Gordon and SWAT officer.

Camo Version:

Wayne Tech playset with computer consoles and gear cabinets

Minifigures: Bruce Wayne, Lucius Fox, Balaclava Spelunking Bruce Wayne

I finally got around to submitting my vote and saw you have well and truly passed 500 and have an encouraging message from Lego. Well done and good luck!

Hopefully bumping the topic also gives you a few more votes.
