Calanon Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 I like the design, however I think that dark green would look a lot better than the current shade of green. Quote
Titan Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 At first I wasn't feeling the bright green - but after looking more closely, it really has a nice contrast to the black and brown bricks. Very nice. Quote
Big Cam Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 I like the design, however I think that dark green would look a lot better than the current shade of green. I must agree, the design itself is great, and honestly looks as good as some of the older castle sets I own, but the green is too bright. I think using the darker green, which of course is harder to come by would make this MOC go from good to superb. Quote
timura Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 Yes you're right. Dark Green parts may be look better but unfortunately variaty and avilability of dark green parts are limited. I like to build castles which has the look of the classic Castle sets. Quote
LandShark Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I really hope Lego makes a set like this one day. It has a very classic feel to it, I always like that in a MOC. I do think dark green would have work better, but I understand that it would be hard to do. And, did you build it on the baseplate, or was it just a massive coincidence that it fits perfectly? Quote
XDriver Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I'm not a fan of castles, but I think: It's really good MOC. Quote

Niku Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Nice MOC I agree that with Dark Green will look better. Nonetheless is a good Castle. Quote
Magnus the Great Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I'm not too keen on the colors, but some parts make me happy. The fact that there are no open arrowslit on the ground level is a big plus. I've never understood the point of it in an era with bow and arrow. The bridge behind the horse is a nice touch. Is it possible to hoist it up? Quote

Is it possible to hoist it up? Yes its possible. The Dragon Knights hoist it up when the castle is under siege. When thay lower it they can manage a sneak attack to their enemies. And, did you build it on the baseplate, or was it just a massive coincidence that it fits perfectly? I built it on a 32 x 32 Green Baseplate. Quote
Artizan Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Really well done, and i think green composes with brown nicely. Quote

Dragon Warrior Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) I like the colour scheme and the size. Lego needs to release something like this. Edited September 27, 2011 by Dragon Warrior Quote
tchuk-norst Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I like the castle, but all that green clashes with the baseplate. I would switch the baseplate with a different color. Quote
