PrinceWilliam Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Back To The Future III (WW Category 1) HelloEveryone, Do you interested in time travel?? If you do, you should remember the series film, Back To The Future (BTTF) Althoughthe BTTF series had been showed for nearly 20 years, the films werealways being my most favorite films at all !!! What scenes do youlike the most in the BTTF series?? Back To The Future I , The thunder storm stroke the tower clock? Back To The Future II, The flying Delorean ?? Or The modern flying time machinetrain in Back To The Future III?? Now, at the same time, there is a Lego scene competition holding in Hong Kong, titled “The classicalfilm scene” . Where there will be final 12 creations will be selected in 2011 Animation and Comics (29Jul - 2Aug, 2011). As a fan of BTTF,it’s a great chance to show “my honor” and feedback to the BTTFseries. Ido like the western story in the BTTF Trilogy, especially Martin andDoc. Brown “kidnap” the steamed train, use the moving train asthe force, and push the Delorean back to the 1985. As, my interest is making Lego trains, I choose thisscene as my competition creation in both Eurobricks and 2011HKACG finally. Let’shave a whole view of the creation (1) The front view The scale of the creation is 32x64 studs which including a sand western desert landscape, a steamed train and the Delorean mainly !!! (2) The right hand view The time machine and Martin Mcfly, do you remember?? (3) The left hand view There is a cave on the left hand bottom part. Still remember the scene?? This is the beginning of the BTTF III, Mcfly was chasing by the Inidans and Americans, and then he hid the time machine Delorean into the cave, then..... (4) The focus, steamed train The exploding steamed train, make use of the curve and the plates to make. (4a) The upper view of the train (4b) The chimney (4c) The exploding stove and the driving deck The exploding stove Please notice that the following pictures are not a photo editing effect !! But this is the real smoke-spread machine effect !!! (4d) The logo Due to the limitation, I change the numbers to a logo instead. (4e) The tire Do remember the tire used to separate the steamed train and the Delorean ?? (4f) The rail track The rail track also used a new method to build. (4g) The scene Do remember what are they doing? The scene I make with the steamed train is, Doc. Emmett Brown saves his lover, Clara. Clara chased the train after she knew that the "escape project" in the Doc's farm house. During that time, the red bombs exploded. Clara slipped over the train and the Doc wanted to save her. Martin Mcfly sent a hover board which got from BTTF II to Emmett.... ***Please noted the smoke is real !!! (5) Train-track style Delorean Nearly 88 miles !!! Ready to Back To The Future , 1985 The train-track version of time machine, Delorean. (6) The final Clara saved and Mcfly Back To The Future of coarse!!!! Hope you enjoy this creation !!!! Thank you for your Watching!!!! by PrinceWilliam Quote

Brickdoctor Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 It's probably because this is one of my favorite movies, but I love this MOC! So much detail to stare at. Quote
The Undo Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Stunning! The whole creation is so beautiful and live. I also like the tracks you made. And the BTTF movies are great! Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Excellent steam train.....oh, well I don't think 'ISC' was expecting a sci-fi/historic cross-over here but I like it.....Good luck 'PrinceWilliam' and Brick On Time Travel On ! Quote
Sandy Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 This is a wonderful creation that certainly brings back memories of childhood to me. I'm loving all the action involved, and the vehicles are spot on perfect. However, at least to my interpretation this entry breaks some of the rules of this EB contest: All entries must be new creations that have never been displayed anywhere before. Post maximum 15 pictures (maximum size 800x600) in your entry thread - the first picture will be used for the voting thread. Make use of Brickshelf, Flickr etc to host your pictures rather than Eurobricks. You can link to an external gallery, where there are no image or picture size limitations. See these tutorials for help with resizing images and deeplinking. Categories: 1. Design a Wild West train. Limit yourself to a maximum of four wagons/cars/coaches/flat beds etc. Engine can include a tender as well and it will not be included in the four car limit. You are allowed to include railway track, however a full MOC background is not permitted as this category is all about the train! You are free to use as many figures on or around the train. Of course, it's up to the host of the contest to have the final say, I just felt I needed to point these out. Sorry. Quote

Sorry. My thoughts exactly. It is a great train from a classic scene. If you were to photograph just the train and its track (delorean allowed), it would be a fine entry, however we decided to make this category just about the train, not the background/surrounds, so they are not allowed in the pictures, no matter how beautiful they are . LEGO Guy Bri Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Great MOC 'PW' Love the train and DeLorean (and the movies). That is quit an engine, it is huge and excellent job on the scene as well. Too bad it can't be part of the competition. Excellent work Quote
SilvaShado Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 One of my favorite movies and now I get to see it in LEGO! You have made my day!! Everything looks great! The minifigures, the delorean, the train - it's all absolutely beautiful and so detailed! Quote

Sorry. Thanks for your watching and pointing out firstly. The landscape is one of the main creation to support the train, the car and also the track. It would be less attractive if the background is cut. A MOC full background is not allowed but my focus are on the trains, track and the car. Hope there could be anyone to confirm my entry or not. Milan Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Marvelous creation. I adore the movie, so i like this scene very much. You captured that critical moment from the movie perfectly! Quote
teabox Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Very nice. I love it. Lots of details to study Quote
AwesomeStar Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Brilliant creation that certainly brings back fond memories of McFly and Doc Brown! The landscaping is gorgeous, as is your attention to detail and ability to capture the action. I think it would definitely be worth you taking new pictures in accordance to the rules, because it would be such a shame if this entry was denied. Great work, PrinceWilliam and I hope to see more of your work in the future! -A.S. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Perfect! You really captured this movie scene right on the money, add the fact that I love this movie series big time, I simply adore this build so much. I hope you win since this outstanding entry really deserves it IMO. Quote
MattieG7 Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Great creation, PrinceWilliam! This is the only Category 1 entry I've seen so far, and you've certainly set a high bar for other entrants! The rock and tree designs are superb, and the train and car are very accurate and detailed! Good luck in the contest! Quote
