Jedd the Jedi Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 A Bat-pod I made some time ago. I realised the shape was incredibly difficult to capture in LEGO form, and I had a hard time figuring out which axles to use. In the end, a much bigger scale solved some of my problems, so this is out of scale with a minifigure, but I'm still really happy about this one. Brickshelf gallery Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Well done brickbuilt version of the Batpod Jedd, you pretty much got the overall shape right, and the front blaster details are quite accurate. The only thing that I would criticize is the wheels are a bit large than what they should be, but I guess you used those due to parts limitation right? I would also love to see the Batman minifig riding this one. Quote

However, they are about the same size as the front wheels used on LEGO's official Tumbler set - and the front wheels of the Tumbler are indeed the wheels of the Batpod. As requested, here's a picture of Batman riding the Batpod. But due to the scale, it is more than a wee bit silly. Quote

Jedd the Jedi Posted February 11, 2011 Author Posted February 11, 2011 Hi Bionicle factory, great to see another newbie around the forums! I actually did do an MOC Tumbler as well - will post that soon! Quote
