Review of set LEGO Harry Potter 4752 - Professor Lupin`s Classroom.

General information about the set:

4752

Number of parts: 155;

Number of minifigs: 3;

Year Released:: 2004.

This set is representative of the "second generation" of the entire series of Harry Potter - three years (2001-2003). Prior to that produced kits with a yellow-skinned minifigures, but only in 2004 they began production minifigures with a light-flesh color. According to the movie, this set depicts one of the scenes from the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Let's start with the box. As you can see, it is very beautiful, but in the lower left corner is hiding all of us are already familiar to Harry Potter, scratch magic wand in his ear... :classic: You can also see just below the inscription to the age group, there are indications of the number of parts and the name of the set, which is not typical for sets, imported to Russia (to me, this set came in a sealed form from Switzerland).

The back side of the box. It shows a whole series of HP in 2004. As well as information that can be added step and twirl the door. Well, the alt-model set (manual need in download). Oh, forgot to write: in 2004, was replaced by the logo "Harry Potter". Personally, I liked it more in sets of 2001-2003 year.

1) Booklet from S@H, by which the catalog is available free of charge.

2) Mini-catalog 2003. More about him here.

3) Very thin, an instruction for some reason, no list of parts. It can be viewed here.

It is on the other side.

And also a box with cloaks and a piece of paper with a glued sticker. Cloaks have taken their rightful place (on the "necks" of minifigures), and sticker on the paper already peel and fastened to the model. So I think that you watch them is not necessary =)

4) And most importantly - more details. Cloaks were packed in a separate box, and a mirror on the door-turntable - sticker.

Most interesting of all the details of the set, imho. The most valuable piece for me is the tile 1x2 with pattern "chocolate" :)

Minifigures.

Professor Snape Boggart. This figure is glowing in the dark head. The most pleasing part of me in it is the torso.

Comparable to the character from the movie. Amazing similarities. But why should he have a glow in the dark head and gray hands - is unclear.

Professor Lupin. One of my favorite figures :blush: The following picture may be considered his wig and a head - if you look at her painted abrasions. By the way, gray robe is now a rarity =)

Head. Аbrasions are really well done.

All Minifig, Headgear Hair Wavy :classic:

Original. Too similar. Although hair color a little bit wrong, but with his magic wand in perfect harmony. And also emphasizes the wig bangs, also available at this Lupin.

Neville Longbottom. The last figure in the set. The most valuable thing in it - the head, while the remaining part of it has already occurred in many other sets of Harry Potter.

Real. And again similarity to the mark.

Well, now look at the main set piece - a study of Professor Lupin. Now let the pictures speak =)

I bought a set of spare parts too, though at first was thought to put it on the shelf. Thanks!

Great review of what seems a cool set.

I have collected the Harry Potter LEGO since they first came out, but unfortunatly, I never got my hands on this one ! It's the only one I don't have from Prisonner of Azkaban :sceptic:

I have all the minifigures though, I had loads of Harrys and got Lupin with the Shrieking Shack, I have a few snapes and ordered Neville's head from Bricklink.

It's nice to see people are still interested in reviewing the HP lines, especially with the new sets that came out recently. :classic:

Daniil K, welcome to Eurobricks and we are pleased to have you sharing this nice review with us. I haven't seen this set before and it is good to receive some useful background information for this old set. :sweet:

Thanks for the review on a set I never knew about. I've always wondered where that kitten torso came from. A decent set, I like how the expressions of the minifigs are so similar to their movie counterparts.

Also, welcome to the forums, Daniil. This is definitely a good way to introduce yourself! Your review is solid, but if you're interested, why don't you give the Reviewers Academy a try, to hone your skills?

Very nice review Daniil K! Like WhiteFang, I wouldn't have known about this set if not for your review, so thanks for sharing. I'd say it's a pretty decent set with lots of interesting parts, especially the hairpieces. What's quite unique about this set too is that the minifigs are based on supporting characters, unlike most sets which always feature the main characters.

Unfortunately, I don`t have sufficient knowledge of English, so... Although, in the future I can somehow try =)

The fact that your english isn't perfect shoudn't block you. From what I've seen so far, your english is decent and good enough to understand what everybody is saying. The decision remains in your hands of course, but english shoudn't bloc you.

They are loads of foreign - non english speaking members on here. As long as you can make yourself clear, everything will be fine.

Solid review. I've never seen this set, either. I'm mostly not too impressed with the older Harry Potter sets, but I actually like this one, especially the staircase which I've never seen before. Lots of really nice accessories, too. And Lupin's minifig is a great match for the actor.
