starstreak Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 And for those checking my profile, my year is wrong. :) I'm old enough not to share my age, yet young enough to enjoy Lego! Wait... You can never be too old. I saw so close in buying the Imperial Flagship but the lego store's computer was down. :( I don't think I ever bought a "Pirate" set. Quote

That would be a hell of a first pirate set, as well as a great birthday set. The new Harry Potter sets are hot right now as well. What pricepoint are toy looking for? Quote
Randal Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 (edited) Happy Birthday. I wish they had more pirate ship pieces in LDD. They added a lot of Star Wars minifig helmets and accessories though. So now I can use more SW comic themes beyond just Storm Troopers and Princess Leia. =) Edited October 30, 2010 by Randal Quote
starstreak Posted October 30, 2010 Author Posted October 30, 2010 Thanks for the wishes! T.S.N- Cute. My daughter would like that set. Funny. Now that I think about it, the Lego store had that in a grab bag for $7 something. B.Cam- I have the castle for the new H.Potter, but didn't have time to build it yet. I wanted the train set but the price is unreal here in Hawaii. Somewhere between $70-105 for it. I have the new SW Shuttle waiting to be built but no time. I saw the new Jedi Starfighter but price and how it looked didn't make it sound all that great. Quote
CommanderFox Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Happy Birthday!! The Flagship would be a great set or maybe the new Diagon Alley set, that looks amazing aswell. Hope you get something that you enjoy for years to come! CF Quote

I think those 2 with the castle basically round out the HP collection. Quote

Geki Brick Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I wouldn't get anything Pirates. They're boring. I would get me a Star Wars Echo base + Snow Trooper Battle Pack from Walmart online. If you have that, pick up Power Miners' Lavatraz which is on sale at Target...that is if you're in America. Quote
