DCI Gene Hunt Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Hi Everyone, Just wanted to share a few photos of a bad guys hideout my 10 year son and I made a couple of days ago. Not sure if it complete or we may rebuild some of it. Here are some of the Indian's camp he made also. Thanks, I hope these photos are the correct size this time. I made them much smaller than my last post. Tracey Quote
Admiral Ron Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Great Work! it looks like you own Fort Legorado, for which i am jealous. I am not sure how I feel about that red pillar in the front of your first picture, but I like the rest of it, it gives off that "converted from authority" feeling, if that makes any sense But isnt it kind of strange to have the sherriff's office next to the bandit's hideout? oh well, great job, I hope to see more from you and your son! Masked Builder Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 That's great work you two! I especially like the use of the raised baseplate. Quote
Mrlegoninja Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Nice work! The Indian's camp is great too! Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Good job you two, there's nothing like a parent and child build.....it's nice to MOC something with your own child ! Very busy layout there, and man, guns, cannons, I think they are trying to keep people away ! I'm a conformist! 'DCI Gene Hunt' I'm a conformist! ! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Great work for the dad-son tandem! Both the modified Fort Legorado and the Indians' Camp are very nicely done. Quote
DCI Gene Hunt Posted October 1, 2010 Author Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) Thanks for the input everyone. Yes we do own Fort Legorado, but these are extra pieces I was able to attain, so Fort Legorado is still together. The red pillar is actually a fireplace, sorry you can't tell very well from the angle of the photo. My son loves to build with me, but he has made some great MOC himself, some city items, and these and yes the Sheriff office is not suppose to be in the photo, it is a part of our western town. I'll see if I can place them all together and get some photos. Thanks Tracey Edited October 1, 2010 by DCI Gene Hunt Quote
DCI Gene Hunt Posted October 7, 2010 Author Posted October 7, 2010 Hi My son and I changed the Indian set here are a few of the new version. He is also going to use this for a school project about the Indians, his teacher already said he could use Legos, how cool is that. It was his idea and she said yes. Tracey Quote
jonwil Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Nice MOCs. Where did the tan grain stalks from the Indian camp come from? Quote
