Blisk Space Fighter is also suited for atmospheric battle. Equipped with two dual plasma canons and four phaser laser blasters.

It has a jet engine in the main body of the ship as well as magnetic stabilizers in the dishes areas.

You did a great job on this! There's just the right amount of greebles on the inside of the wings, and the overall shape is very interesting. those cannon tips look really good, too.

Nice MOC, great weapons bay on the front and position of engines and cockpit too.

Question do you have four phasers or lasers ? (I don't think you can have a combo)

Also I would only use these in space, they would be to easy to detect with any kind of radar in the atmosphere including WWII sets.

Great work, 'Catarino' ! :classic:

Nice, seems fragile for me though... Is it fragile?

Who am i to say so? I've always sucked making spaceships..

4 stars.

Brilliant design, this would make a great SW ship (SW nerd here).

I like the cockpit design and te dual wings how they wrap around. I am going to bookmark this thread for future referance. Great job!

Hello there!

First, it's a great fighter! The weapon emplacements are well thought out, and the use of dishes all around the engines in very inventive and give a great look here. Also the use of the big arches is an interesting technque and adds to the all-rounded construction. :classic:

Now speaking of Star Wars vessels, as BigCam mentioned, this does already looks a bit similar to a Star Wars vessel.

SPOILERS. Please don't read further if you don't wish to.

In eight years after the Battle of Yavin a delegation from the Hapes Cluster (in the Inner Rim) arrives at Coruscant which had recently been recaptured by the New Republic. Their intention is to marry their heir to the throne - Prince Isolder - to Princess Leia. Of course Han Solo is not amused by that, and Han marries Leia herself in the end of the novel. Fortunately.

Now back to topic. Prince Isolder flies a very capable combat fighter which is called Storm and is a Hapan Cluster Miy'til Fighter. The crescent wing design of your (Catarino's) design reminded me to the wing design of that ship from the Expanded Universe because that shape usually is not easy to build and more rarely seen :classic:

Again, great ship!

Cheers,

~ Christopher

It has both! Don't ask me how! When I was writing the description and looking at the MOC this came to my mind and so it was!

If it is scientifically impossible I do not know, but let's face it, there aren't many space fighters out there are they? Imagination is the limit

Being able to space fight as well as atmospheric, comes from the latest anime I've benn watching, Gundam, where this is always present.

It is quite stable!

You can swosh it around without fear of something falling

Thanks for your comments all you guys!

Anything else just ask! :classic:
