Commodore_Jackson Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Hello, I was wondering if someone could lead me into a correct direction? Lately, I have been yearning to see the old catalogues and magazines I had when I younger in the 90's. Im talking about the Lego Mania Magazines and Shop at Home catalogues released from 1990-2000. Does any site have scans of these available or should I prepare to just place a very large BL order? Thanks a TON for any info on this! Quote
Moose Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 i was seriously gonna start this exact same topic today but i was too busy. u beat me to it. i hope someone has a link because my mom threw all mine away years ago and i was so mad. i loved looking at them, the layouts and everything were just so much fun to look at. CP5670 Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I would like to see these too. I have most of the Mania magazines and big catalogs from 1995 onward, but not any of the earlier ones. Peeron and Brickfactory have scans of most (but not all) of the mini catalogs that were included in sets, but not any of the full scale S@H catalogs. Quote
KinGanon Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 ahh Lego Mania, good times, good times Yeah I have some old ones in bad condition, but I wouldn't mind reading the classics! Quote
mania3 Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Try this: http://www.hccamsterdam.nl/brickfactory/index.htm They have quite a few scans of old catalogs as well as nearly every set instructions you could want. Quote
CP5670 Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 That site only has the small catalogs that were included with sets, not the big S@H/Lego Direct magazines. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 I have a handful of 90s catalogs for sale/trade if anyone is interested. Quote
Brickadier General Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I first began Subscribing to the Lego magazine in '95, and the earliest "surviving" catalog I have is from '98. There are 2 or 3 issues I think I'm missing, but if there really is enough interest, I could upload image scans to Brickshelf. In fact, it's winter break now, and I might as well anyway. lol I would be happy to. Quote
