Yeah, yeah, we got the point. Calm down a bit will you. Using this type of font in a post is really unnecessary and quite disrespectful, as if we don't listen in case you ask the same using normal font. Since you seem to be new here (seeing this is your 2nd post) we will not have you marooned or hanged... yet. :pir-grin:

Why not check out the online building instructions for ships like 6274 Caribbean Clipper, 6285 Black Seas Barracuda or 6286 Skulls Eye Schooner. That should get you started and of course you can alter things easily if you think that is necessary.

You might want to look in the library and tutorial part of this forum. Perhaps there are some useful tips to be found when it comes to building special sections of a ship. Good luck.

Do you have some more information? Like, you want it brickbuilt, or make use of a prefab hull? ,Do you allready have parts to build it, or do you also want advise on what parts/sets to buy to make a ship etc.

You might want to check brickshelf or the ship index in the pinned topic in this forum to get some inspiration.

I would like the hull to be brick build as i dont have a hull. I have 2 mast polls, 1 pole for a bow, and some pieces for rigging. I also have a large assortment of colored pieces if anyone has advice on a color scheme. thx :pir_laugh2:

If you want a brick-built hull, I say: SNOT. What I do when I want to make a brick-built hull (I'm actually making one now) is use brown log pices and brown tiles. Since you might not have enough brown tiles to fill a ship, I recomend doing my SNOT idea for only the front and back parts of the ship, with a different color stripe in the center. If you're making an Imperial ship, I'd reccomend yellow with a white stripe, but if you're making a pirate ship, you probably shouldn't. You'll want to leave gaps in the SNOT tiles for gunports, and you'll want to make the tiles curve inward. Hope this helps.

You'd best start to think of the type of ship you'd like to build.

Like with one mast, 2 masts, 3 masts, 1 gundeck, 2 gundecks, for cargo or for war purpouses?

Then think in what scale you'd like to build it, this could be an issue of how much bricks and budget you have.

Thinking up a colorscheme in advance isn't unhandy either.

The drydock shipmodel gallery is a great resource on ships, there are over 100 featured with many detail pics.

Then indeed you can check our ship index or brickshelf and ask builders for specific things, as for your request now is very random.

Good luck!

What's the name of your old account?

Would you like to keep on using this new account or do you prefer to use the old one again? I can easily give you a new password.

That's good of you Bonaparte. But would I be right thinking the old account name is patriot720?

In regards to the hull, I recommend buying one off of ebay or bricklink, because even if you think you have heaps of bricks, you can never have enough when you actually start building and buying a hull will probably end up being cheaper than buying enough bricks to continue. Masts - barrel pieces are always good, but again, I would go with the official LEGO masts.

Also, when requesting advice, you need to give more info and details. There are so many kinds of ships, for so many purpouses. So in order for us to really help you, you need to give us more details on the use for the ship you want - pirate, millitary, merchant. The type of ship - frigate man-o-war, schooner, brig just to name a very few. The realism you want - scale etc. And the type of budget and resources to complete the project that you have. If you need further details that you can't get out of the forums, send me an email and I will be glad to help you out.

Cheers, Captain Zuloo :pir-laugh:

Good thinking, but it seem there's no such user. We'll have to wait for xpatriot720x to provide us info.
