The only way that this could be sold is as an expansion pack, which it likely won't be, seeing as Lego has only released full games in the past. I haven't seen the movie but your ideas seen okay. Assuming this follows Clone Wars, I'm sure it would fit in Complete Saga. However, the episodes usually only have 6, not 8 levels. It doesn't matter... but still, maybe get rid of some of the more useless ones. Rex and Fox would be cool, but still they really aren't very relevant characters. Besides, with the terrible scores this movie is getting and all... I'm sure LEGO will make the smart move and not turn this failiure into a game. ...but on a bright, non-dark note... welcome to Eurobricks! Quote
Oky Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 (edited) Interesting topic and nice ideas! There's actually not much one could add... except for "Battle of Teth" maybe? I don't know how this could work, though. Maybe it could be a flight level with Anakin on a STAP and the camera facing up the wall, so that it looks like it's all actually horizontal, like in the movie? Or perhaps it could be a platform-type level where you have to climb up wires and jump around on AT-TEs and rocks that stick out of the wall with either Anakin or Ahsoka in order to reach the top, while fighting dwarf spider droids and trying to avoid blasts from above! That would actually be pretty cool! As for the possibility for such a game actually happening: I don't believe it will, but if it would, it would make more sense for it to be based on the whole show rather than only the movie. True, but I did hear some rumours about a certain Lego game coming out next year. Probably not true, but here's the story I heard... LucasArts fired off this guy, and he was very mad about the whole thing (no job? well, of course he's pissed!), so he decided to ruin some games/future releases for LucasArts. This included a Lego Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull game, along with an online KOTOR 3 and a few others. Dunno what happened to him, but if there's a rumour about a LEGO game of some sort coming out, I'll look into it. It says nothing on Wikipedia about this however, so I doubt it's real news. Unfortunately, a SW CW game looks pretty bleak next year. Quote

I agree, Lego needs to move away from Star Wars - apart from the Clone Wars sets, most everything is a rehash [remind me how many Slave 1's and X-wings are there?], and the quality is falling - cash grabs don't need to be supported by Lego. JimboJones Posted August 17, 2008 Author Posted August 17, 2008 You no if they do make it, it many not just be an expansion because there is a series coming up and they would probably have scenes from episodes. And i did 8 because there are some things that were hrd to skip and i didnt want to put 7 so i added the rescuing senator one Quote
Skipper 24 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I think they would probably build it in to LSWIII instead of making an expansion. Quote
commanderbly42 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I hope that they make one but I would rather it not be based on the movie. If it included the whole series, I think that it would work though. SW is one of TLC's biggest cash cows. Anyhow, there are plenty more things TLC could do with SW and, IMO, the quality of SW sets is improving, not falling. But that's just my opinion. Quote

Dovchenko Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 It wasnt one guy as you put itit was OVER 9000! naa just kidding it was around 100 - 300 O RLY? Joking, thanks for setting that straight. No offence but... the Clone Wars is so far at a 1.5/5 rating, which is a surprising low for SW. Unless the ratings really rise, Lucas should just stop it with the Clone Wars... Crap. I said it. That's right. Maybe something to do with the original episodes, but that will be all. SW isn't failing, but the CW looks like a mega-bomb. Quote
alexrider7 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 These would be the levels if there were only six... Level 1: Battle of Christophsis: Part 1: (Right after the first movie clip) Obi Wan, Commander Cody, R2D2 Part 2: (After second movie clip) Anakin, Ahsoka The First Battle that you see in the movie. In Part 1, you take control in the ground battle. In Part 2, you shut down the sheild generator. Level 2: The Cliffs Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex You battle all sorts of droids as you walk up on the AT TEs! Special Feature: Take control of the AT TEs. Level 3: Teth Monestary Anakin, Ahsoka, R2D2 Go inside the Monestary as you rescue Rotta the Huttlet and at the end of the level, battle Asajj Ventress. Level 4: The Sepretist Assasin Obi Wan, Commander Cody, R4-P17 As you look for Anakin, Asajj Ventress awaits... Level 5: The Flight of The Twilight Twilight You Take control of the Twilight, and race against your time limit, to reach your destination. Level 6: Wrath of Dooku Anakin, Ahsoka You fight Dooku to return Jabba's son. Unlockable Level: Rescue the Senator Part 1: Clone, Fox, C3PO Part 2: Clone, Fox, C3PO, Padme You try to rescue Padme in Part 1. In Part 2, you try to find Ziro. He has escaped for now... Quote

Oky Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 (edited) Hello there! I thought we should revive this thread to add ideas from the first season of the TV show. With the success of the show (and in return, that of the Lego sets), I think it's becoming rather likely for a LSW Clone Wars game to happen. There are so many sets already and it seems like there are still many to come! And the first season of the TV show alone provides for many great stories and settings for a game! So here are my ideas for different levels: Malevolence (Space): This is a flight level. Fly around the Malevolence in a Y-Wing and destroy its ion cannons. The Malevolence: You fight your way through corridors, jump around on moving rail-jet trains, and destroy the nav-computer at the end. The boss is Grievous. The Rishi Station (from Rookies): After explosives have been set, you try to escape from Rishi Station, fighting droid commandos on your way out. The boss could be the commando droid leader... or a Rishi eel. Skytop Station (from Duel of the Droids): Fight your way through the station while being attacked by MagnaGuards, find R2, and get to the hangar. The boss could be Grievous... or "Goldie". The Tranquility (from Cloak of Darkness): Walk through the Venator, fighting invading droids, and find Ventress. She is the boss. The Lair of Grievous: You have to escape from Grievous's castle and have to fight MagnaGuards and Gor on the way. The boss is Grievous of course. Pirate HQ (from Gungan General): You have to escape from the Weequayan pirates. The boss could be the pirate chief. Battle of Quell (from Jedi Crash): This is a flight level. Fight through CIS forces in an RGS and (crash)land on board Aayla Secura's Venator. Battle of Maridun (from Defenders of Peace): Travel Maridun, fighting hostile creatures, find the Lurmen, and protect their village against the droid forces. The boss is Lok Durd and his defoliator.Battle of Orto Plutonia (from Trespass): Fly through an icy canyon on a Freeco bike, fighting off Talz warriors. Nuvo Vindi's laboratory (from Blue Shadow Virus): Get through the Naboo swamp without getting detected. Then, go through the hatch and fight your way through the underground complex to the lab. The boss is Vindi. (You have to catch all the vials that he drops. ) Battle over Ryloth: Another flight level. Fight through attacking Vulture Droids and bomb the crap out of the Separatist frigates. Ryloth Ground Battle (Innocents & Liberty of Ryloth): Fight through the village of Nabat, defeating the Gutkurr beasts, free the captives, take out the heavy cannons, and take the capital. Not sure who/what the boss could be. Perhaps a tactical droid in an AAT? These are the most realistic ideas I would have. I know I left some very good episodes out, but that's because I just don't think they would make good levels. So, what do you suggest? Edited March 23, 2009 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
