Classic Radio Tower Question

Hello, maybe someone can help me.
What kind of bricks are used to built the structure of this radio tower?
I mean the blue strives..
And what tube is used for the railing?
So many questions...

Any help would be great.

I believe the blue tubes are standard LEGO pneumatics tubes.
