Equilibrium Posted January 15 Posted January 15 (edited) So I had this idea for an alt out of an amazing Ford GT set for a while now but not enough time to sit on it. Then Christmas magic happend aka holiday break and this is the result :) I was aiming for somewhat old school look with some modern, sporty additions in form of rear wing and rectangular lights. I'm also pretty happy that I've managed to use all 4 wheel arches :) Features: HoG steering Independent suspension on all wheels Working fake V6 engine Openable doors with locking mechanism Openable trunk for HoG storage Sturdy and rigid frame Some photos (clickable for larger resolution by right click -> open picture in new tab): And short video: Edited January 22 by Equilibrium Quote
Aurorasaurus Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Impressive! It looks really polished, you used the available parts really really well. The use of wheel arches for the rear bodywork and under the front windshield is brilliant too. In my eyes it looks good from all the angles you showed. Great work! Quote
gyenesvi Posted January 15 Posted January 15 This looks really cool, nice alternative! Nice use of panels / wheel arches. Quote
Equilibrium Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 Thanks :) Although I can't take credit for panel ideas as it seems rather common to put one under front windshield. I'm glad rear one fitted so well without basically any modifications to the structure - I left it for the very end of design as I was trying to figure what to do there :) Quote
Paul B Technic Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Well done, that is well built and has a very professional look about it. Quote
