He did not have to be there—that's what recasts are for.

I stated Tarkin had to be there, not necessarily a resurrected Cushing  Personally, I was fine with the digital recreation in this case, but I‘d generally prefer recasts as well.

Back to LEGO: Since we now know that we‘ll get at least 6 dinos and prehistoric reptiles, what do you think about their set distribution? I know I was sceptical at first, but with all the new information we got, there‘s no way they‘ll omit the mutant. Same goes for the aquilops mascot.

So, maybe 1-1-2-2-2? Or 1-1-1-2-3? ^^

i think it’s more likely 1-1-2-2-2. also i know it sounds insane but what if we get 2 spinos and the mosa is in a stand alone set. or even more insane we get all 3 with 1 in the mosa set and the other 2 together kinda like how they split the raptors up in jw 2015 sets

Not just Tarkin. Many others like Leia and Luke. Hammond could be some kind of hybrid himself.

Half dino, half human, hybrid, machine, we don't know. There has to be bad guys? Not just dino villains.

I imagine it would be helpfull if we knew how many pieces the mosa was made of.

By my count it's around 313 parts, at least the parts that you can see, and if you duplicate the same parts that would be on the other side. So if the $25 set has 339 parts, I don't really see the insides of the Mosa consisting of just 26 parts.

With that I suspect it's included in either the $100 or $150 set which would also include the Boat and a Spino. I do see a reason for there to be both a brick build dino and a molded one in one set, as the mosa is so much larger then the spinos,  so that would be the only way for them to keep some kind of scale.

Good analysis! Yeah, unfortunately, the Mosasaurus will almost certainly not be its own set then and likely come in the same set as the Spinosaurus, probably the $100 one :shrug_oh_well:

The actual distribution could be 0-1-2-2-3 then. If the small set is still a buildable dino, it could be an Aquilops, which counts as a 0 in my book since it wouldn‘t be minifig-scale (unless it comes with a moulded Aquilops as well).

Maybe it’s something like this:

 • $25 set: buildable Aquilops
 • $35 set: Quetzalcoatlus
 • $50 set: Titanosaurus & Velociraptor
 • $100 set: Spinosaurus & Mosasaurus
 • $150 set: mutant, T-Rex, & minifig-scale Aquilops

Pretty sure the mutant will have a fight scene with a „protagonist“ dino, and who better than a T-Rex? Would be far from the first time

There is 0% chance we will get a cyborg Hammond. Martin Krebs is most likely the human villain. I don't know why you are so set on Hammond being the villain.

I sure hope not.

I really want him to actually be a good guy; the last thing this franchise needs is yet another generic villain who just wants dino DNA.

The dinos yearn for human flesh tho. The body count has to come from somewhere. :moar:

That's... actually a very good prediction of how they'll be distributed

Possible Spoiler in 1st paragraph below
Certainly will, leaks suggest the Spinosaurus will have a battle with D-rex, further evidence of this is Mattel listings that were revealed to show 'Spinosaurus Hero Dino'
Also, i hope we do at least get 1 JW 10th Anniversary set, maybe its the D2C for next month or that buildable one maybe a baby Indominus?

Also, i dont know why those spoiler tags arent working so apologies guys, ill put a spoiler warning right above it

I want set names and desorptions already!

i am scouring the internet for any signs of descriptions or images but sadly i think this year lego will be the ones controlling the leaks and i doubt we will get anything from leakers

It almost like we get more leaks when the sets aren't based off a movie.

I would love to be going through 2 or 3 set descriptions trying to figure out what all the sets contain.

Appreciate your hard efforts mate! What sites do you check out of curiousity, like Fanklockow? Or other german websites, reddit/insta pages etc?

Either way, i hope you come accross something!

i mainly type in lego jurassic world 2025 and scroll thru google and also search thru the #legojurassic hashtag on instagram to see if anyone got picks or leaks. same with youtube by changing the search to lego jurassic and decreasing the upload timeframe and going thru every single video. also messaged some leakers and all ive been able to get is the release date.

as far as im aware the only pictures online of the sets are the ones released by lego themselves and i think thats how it will be this year. they will reveal the sets before anyone has the chance to leak it. i also think that universal is making lego keep extra tight wraps on the sets to make sure no spoilers get out.

cause for jurassic world dominion this time 3 years ago we already had leaks of all the sets and dinos. and some official reveals.

that being said i do think we will get some set reveals before the end of the month just going off what collect jurassic posted on insta saying: “more info on sets to come soon”. so it’s kinda a guess but we do have a trex skeleton coming out march 1st so maybe we will get that reveal along side the rebirth set reveals

That‘s because the JWD sets got released in April while the Rebirth sets are scheduled for June. We likely won‘t see proper images before April :classic:

Ah yeah, really is a scour haha 🤣

Well fingers crossed we can get some leaks soon, because i dont think we'll get reveals, not until at least april time, it would be good if they reveal something else alongside the t-rex skeleton set, which we are only a couple weeks away from now!! 😁

My concern with the Mosasaurus being brick built is namely that it may be too out of scale. Feel like its going to be too big and clunky for what it needs to be. Also of course it just won't be in the same visual style of the other Dino's. I wanna change my mind but I see myself staying disappointed with this design for the time being. Obsessed with the Titanosaurus, loving the Spinosaurus and its tail. Might have to get into this theme after how goo the past two years have been. Really didn't want to but it has its charm. I was holding out for when this retired and we eventually got Lego unlicensed Dinosaur sets, but it seems that just isn't going to happen.

The best I can tell it's this big:

At least 45 bricks long nose to tail

26 bricks front flipper to flipper

Body width 5 bricks 1 plate

Height 5 Brick, 2 plate

I hope this helps.

Ain't that just a young Mosasaurus? The adult seems to be way bigger. Atleast double the size. Possibly even tripple?

Maybe, however I seem to remember that mosasaur is kinda a large group of marine reptiles, so it could just be a smaller subspecies.

I mean the one in the trailer.

When checking what sizes the  M. hoffmannii could be IRL, then the LEGO seems to be close to scale.

The one in the trailer, seems... VERY big. Way bigger than what has been found so far.

I was kinda thinking the one from rebirth was smaller then the one that got out in fallen kingdom.
