AVCampos Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Finally, tractor tyres on the monster truck pullbacks! Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Finally the monster jam sets have reallistic tires hopefully the new f1 cars will get the same treatment:) Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Let's get some music in this joint. Quote
1gor Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 (edited) Well, JCB has some dosired parts in yellow. Now I await 2nd January...IMHO ut is a must have... Edited December 4, 2024 by 1gor Quote
AVCampos Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 It's hard to discern from the render, but could those parts be keetorange instead of regular yellow? Quote

_Electro_ Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 I think it looks like thay forgot to finish them, previous monster truck's looks better Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 DIGatron looks pretty fabulous if you ask me. Looks like it has the backhoe as well. Cool use of robot arms for the bucket on the front. Roof sticker's a bit of a turn-off, but JCB! JCB! I was initially somewhat dismissive toward ThunderROARus, but damn it looks uh-mazing! Rare grey panel-o-rama, and the red Bohrok eyes make great claws. I did envision the classic BIONICLE claw, but they've been out of production for a while, and the scale would probably look wrong. Also, first pair of Monster Jam trucks to not use bright orange wheel hubs! Although Dalmatian's red rims are no longer unique. Sad pupper. Quote
msk6003 Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 (edited) ThunderROARus 2391 7L flip flop in LBG new Not 100% sure but looks like #3(64683) and #4(64391) on LBG is possible and if it is real, that is also new. Panel 3x11 #5(64681) and #6(64393) in LBG is very rare(last and first release is 1set on 2010) 14720 I beam on black is rare 71708 2x3 quarter beam on LBG is rare DIGatron 32063 6L half stud thick beam on BLO is new 10202 tile 6x6 on BLO is new 32348 4-4 bent beam on BLO is very rare(last release is 2005) Not 100% sure but in my eyes those wheel(56145) looke like BLO. If it is real, that is also new. If it is yellow, it it not new or rare. Almost every other BLO parts came first on mclaren except 2x4 beam(include on 42147 too) Edited November 18, 2024 by msk6003 Quote

2GodBDGlory Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 That's a nice LBG parts pack! Not too many new parts, but it's nice for those panels to be more accessible. I actually haven't gotten any of those tractor tires yet, so that could be a good parts pack to pick up sometime! Quote
NV Lego technic Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Nice that we are finally getting tractor tyres. Now the only thing is to remove the bumper. I might buy the thunderoarus because it seems like a good parts pack. Quote

Maaboo the Witch Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 The panels at the back of ThunderROARus look like 3x11 versions to me. Quote

R0Sch Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Hate it when LEGO "cancels" and shortly after resumes a collection but somehow different/improved. Now all the previous Monster Jam sets look bad without the tractor tires... I'd rather have seen new wider balloon tractor tires with bouncy rubber compound but at this rudimentary level of detail it makes no sense. Quote

AVCampos Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 With their introduction in these two cheap sets, hopefully their price will go down. Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 They've already been featured in an even cheaper set this year. Quote

Looks like an cool little parts pack, what shades of blue are those? The way the front axle is mounted on this one looks weird / asymmetric, even the spacing seems wrong (like it would not fit). Does anyone understand how that is? Quote

The LBG parts right below the bumper are further forward than the axle which is mounted with two 3x3 T-liftarms but due to the viewing angle it appears as if the DGB T-part is actually under the LBG part.
