eldiano Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 (edited) I have a lot of LEGO I'm trying to get rid of and just got this email from LEGO news about their brick trade in program: LEGO® Brick Take Back (legobricktakeback.com) I want to get a gift card rather than digital cash back, does the trade in offers sound reasonable versus taking it bulk locally to a third party store? The max we could do at a time is 45lbs and if eligible the difference between $108-180 is drastic IMHO Edited August 30, 2024 by eldiano Quote
JesseNight Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 Note: it seems to be exclusive for USA and Germany. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted September 1, 2024 Posted September 1, 2024 If you are close to a third party place the prices could be better, but if you have to start factoring in travel time/fuel spend, it might be better to just post it in and reconcile the lower cashback against the money it would take to transport it elsewhere. Thanks, the only thing I have seen on third party stores is like 140 bucks for 20 pounds, but I was just curious to see if it was really worth it for the time being. Quote
