Pretty sure, since every polybag is based on a full-size Speed Champions car it's basically a guarantee we'll be getting a Ferrari 499P set. Quote

jonwil Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Just finished building the Red Bull SC F1 car and I can't get the radar dish wheel rims to stick to the rear (wider) wheel pieces properly. Anyone else seen that happen or know what might be going on? Quote
MTBingNinja Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Hi jonwill, the tires are different sizes. For the larger rear tires, you need to use a 1x1 circular plate piece too behind the radar dish so it sits on better on the center of the rim Quote
jonwil Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) Yeah I found out that I was missing the 1 x 1 round plates. Really good looking set though. Edited March 10 by jonwil Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted March 11 Posted March 11 The pink Honda from 2F2F has leaked! It’ll certainly stand out on shelves Quote
icm Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I'm not interested in that car, but I can't wait to get more of that windscreen piece in other cars. Quote
thomasanderson Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Sweet, can't wait to see more pics of that windshield. Also sweet pink parts donor ;) Quote
Lyichir Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Very neat looking! I've noticed that angular parts like wedges and wedge plates can be somewhat rare in pink (since those types of parts are often more common in themes like City, Speed Champions or Star Wars that use fewer of those sorts of colors). So it's very cool to get a car like this in Speed Champions! That windscreen piece looks pretty cool as well! Quote
Void_S Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) Auuuchh... I found this Honda S2000 set leaks, and my impressions are controversial... I love new colors, and it is great to see the parts in the rare shades. It is also a great opportunity for MOCs! But the shape that TLG made... Well... It strongly reminds me of the Tibetan fox with a disproportionally (to usual foxes) high placed eyes. Really, S2000 had them not on the top of wheel arches... Edited March 12 by Void_S Quote
StudWorks Posted March 13 Posted March 13 (edited) Rage incoming . . . Tried to get the halo curved perfectly for the SF-24 set (to fit that clip right in the middle without it angling left or right) and THIS happened. New 7L hard hose piece coming from Denmark, but seriously LEGO, Cada does a molded halo piece for their F1 sets, and you give us one made of a piece that's crap. This piece should have been made of soft rubber and not hard plastic that could be warped. Edited March 13 by StudWorks Quote
Jaromir Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Which month summer sets are being released? Is it June or August? Quote
Jaromir Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I think was said that Honda will be released in August. What about the other 4 sets? Quote
Gzynek2323 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 First images of Suki’s Honda s2000 showed up in instagram along with mini figure. Hope that windshield is a print. Quote
Void_S Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Is it the first time we have a steering wheel as a separate part (the "circle" only), instead of a wheel+stand regular part? Quote
thomasanderson Posted March 16 Posted March 16 First time in speed champions it was used in Mercedes-AMG G 63, this will be the second time. Quote

I know this part is quite old, but I was surprised to see it in the Speed Champions model. While G 63 (yeah, I forgot about it, my bad) is a "King-Size" model and must have some out-of-the-line solutions, this one is more "convenient" and, boom!, it got new steering wheel idea (that finally resolves the "offset problem" of older models) and a new "convertible" windshield. A big progress, finally! I'm not sure if I can put it here, so please feel free to erase if it shouldn't be here. Here is my attempt to build the coming set (pretty similar to recent Mercedes convertible): Edited March 16 by Void_S Quote
Bartlomiej Posted March 22 Author Posted March 22 Guys. I have already built 6 out of 10 new F1 cars. And stickers completely don't bother me. But the halo 🙄. It's horrible. It doesn't look like it should. It bends, the clip is not centered. And no it's not my fault, I tried everything to get clear vertical position. So my question is. Does anyone have 3D render of halo like from CaDa? Quote

thomasanderson Posted March 25 Posted March 25 It's official: https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/2-fast-2-furious-honda-s2000-77241 There are no rear lights - only stickers Quote
