A few years ago I posted about the interchangeable hat wig, which involved cutting a LEGO wig with a hacksaw and sticking it under hat pieces. The result was good, but it was kind of hard to do and scared people because of the hacksaw.

I have a better way now!

Made a couple more under hat hairs - these are actually really easy to make (~3 min each)

Made by just putting a 4" x 4" piece of rough grit sandpaper on the floor and rubbing the hair against it. I put a knockoff head in the hair and attach it to a torso to hold onto. Once the knockoff head has been sanded down so the stud is gone it is pretty much ready

This would of course work for all themes, but I used it for pirates and imperials!

I really like these! Definitely have to try it myself. Did you glue the sanded hair pieces to the tricorns?

No glue necessary, they hold themselves in place! This makes them interchangeable

Ah, the sequel. :pir-grin:

Great ideas, though I feel that the short tousled hair modification on far right looks a bit out of place in this situation. Others are excellent. Thank ye for sharing! :pir-thumb:

Haha yeah that guy on the right is a little goofy. I didn't want to push his hair down all the way because it covered up his eyebrows, but it does look a bit better then

Post pics when you do, please!

Ok, so here's what i come up with. I used Luke's and Ron Weasley's hair because i have so many of these :pir_laugh2: I also tried Owen Grady's hair but that didn't work out. Then i tried some other hats but that didn't work out too. You need a hat with a flat underside that also covers all of the hair. Maybe it is possible to use the bicorne if you sand the hair piece with angles, so it matches the underside of the bicorne. Guess i will order some disposable hair pieces and try it with a bicorne in the future.

These two i'll keep

Those look great Yperio!

I'll note that for a few of mine that had hair over the forehead I used scissors to cut off that portion of the hair, thinking it might make it look more like the hair was drawn backward toward a ponytail

Aye, eyebrows are always important. :pir-grin: To me it looks as if the hat is too small for him.
