Which are your TOP 10 Lego sets from 2022?

Hello everybody!

I know that I'm a bit late with this topic. Nevertheless I thought it would be interesting to know which are our TOP 10 Lego sets from 2022. So please share!

 

My TOP 10 Lego sets from 2022 are:

1st place: 10497 Galaxy Explorer

2nd place: 10305 Lion Knights' Castle

3rd place: 21333 Vincent van Gogh - The Starry Night

4th place: 10308 Holiday Main Street

5th place: 60347 Grocery Store

6th place: 60326 Picnic in the Park

7th place: 10309 Succulents

8th place: 10311 Orchid

9th place: 60336 Freight Train

10th place: 21332 The Globe

 

And what about yours?

1. 60335 Train Station - converted that one into a bus terminal 

2. 60329 School Day - was a fixer upper

3. 60347 Grocery Store - just needed to add a roof and it was all set. 

4. 60330 Hospital - for obvious reasons. 

5. 60328 Beach Lifeguard Station - pretty good set for a small one. 

6. 40578 Sandwich Shop - loved this set. 

7. 60320 Fire Station - I don't see how people hated this one. I think it's actually the best fire station we've gotten. 

8. 60317 Police Chase at the Bank - or something like that. I really just got it for the bank building. But the vehicles were useful too. 

9. 60316 Police Station - definitely an improvement over the last classic police station in 2020. 

10. 60351 Rocket Launch Center - not bad. Wish it were road plate compatible.

don’t get me wrong but I don’t buy a lot last year.

It will be a top 5 because I only buy five items in 2022 (in multiple copies however) :

1. 10305 - Lion Knights' Castle

2. 10497 - Galaxy Explorer

3. 40567 - Forest Hideout

4. 71034 - Knight of the Yellow Castle

5. 71032 - Troubadour

Didn't buy much this year in terms of sets, as I mainly buy bricks, but there's one that is not only my favorite of the year, but possibly my favorite of all time: 10316 - Rivendell.

 

Not only because it looks amazing and I love the Lord of the Rings, but I've been amazed by all the techniques in the build, I literally 'wowed' multiple times out loud in the process. I'd recommend it to everyone.

Galaxy Explorer is far and away the best IMO, easily #1.

The Lion Knights Castle and Forest Hideout are certainly up there. Past that I need to think about it more.

Well IMO you don´t need to own a set for it to be in your top ten. ;) My first set for instance is a set that I don´t own (yet).
