LegendaryArticuno Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 Already have 1 and absolutely love the model. I'm wondering if it would be worth getting a 2nd one (at a discounted price) in order to enhance the original build? The challenge is that from looking at the original build, the Water Dragon doesn't look easy to improve compared to something like the Razorcrest which had a lot of room for improvements and customization. I guess I'm lacking the creativity to make the Water Dragon better lol. Quote
Lyichir Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 (edited) To be honest I'm not really sure where you'd improve the water dragon with a second set. The head size is pretty much fixed, so the main thing that could be done would be to make it longer—and it's already relatively long for a Ninjago dragon. Lengthening it even more might just make it harder to move and articulate effectively. If I were to try to get a second of any set this wave to modify into a larger, more detailed version, I think I'd sooner go for the Hydro Bounty. Considering two of the other sets include matching mini-subs to the one in the Hydro Bounty set, it feels like it's just begging to have its vehicle bay lengthened to fit all four—or maybe even six, with another two pods MOCed to fit all six ninja! Kim-Kwang-Seok Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 I wasn't the biggest fan of the set due to the build being more "messy" and less colourful, than I would have liked. But it's a very decent build anyway (I got very high standards ; ) and I couldn't do much other then chaning some colours, changine/adding some detail. I'm sure there's ways to make it even much cooler but you'd have to completely redesign the body. The existing structure isn't so easy to change all that much. Quote
