LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Hello everyone, after building the Shell Chemical Plant for the refining of crude oil I had specified that you will have made a filling station for my diesel locomotives, in order to add further realism to the railway yard. Inspired by both the builder Monteur and the Bluebrixx models, I wanted to recreate my personal station. The funniest part was the realization of the two red pumps in the '60s style, otherwise the construction is very linear. Enjoy the pictures Quote
zephyr1934 Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 That looks really good. It is visually interesting from all angles and although it is not a large MOC as I sit here a look longer I see lots of fine details, e.g., the handrails on the stairs. Quote

bogieman Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Very nice, I love it. Any thoughts of selling plans? Quote

Bricks-on-Rails Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Hi, nice build, i like the compactness and the amount of details. It would fit inside alot of layouts. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Simple, yet detailed. An effective, and often overlooked part of modern railway operations. Good work. Quote

I won't copy it but will certainly take inspiration ;-) Quote

Toastie Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Hi Emanuele, nice, nice and even nicer! As - well always. Plus: This thread pointed me to Emanuele's chemical plant thread [I missed that - Merde (ha! The Big Brother here never captures any other than English). Thank you very much for sharing! All the best, Thorsten Quote

Seriously, this is a fantastic little scene and extremely well executed. Quote

Stuartn Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 That's an amazing build, all of the small details are great and I really like the tiled surfaces and the height variations on the base. The building is great, and the tank with all its little details like the wall around it and the handrail on teh gantry are astounding.
