Hello everyone,

after building the Shell Chemical Plant for the refining of crude oil I had specified that you will have made a filling station for my diesel locomotives, in order to add further realism to the railway yard. :classic:

Inspired by both the builder Monteur and the Bluebrixx models, I wanted to recreate my personal station.

The funniest part was the realization of the two red pumps in the '60s style, otherwise the construction is very linear.

Enjoy the pictures :classic:

That looks really good. It is visually interesting from all angles and although it is not a large MOC as I sit here a look longer I see lots of fine details, e.g., the handrails on the stairs.

Agree with all comments sofar, especially:

For such a simple thing I would be embarrassed to sell instructions

Very nice build, proving that things don't need to be big or complex to be (visually) interesting. I won't copy it but will certainly take inspiration ;-)

Hi Emanuele,

nice, nice and even nicer! As - well always.

Plus: This thread pointed me to Emanuele's chemical plant thread [I missed that - Merde (ha! The Big Brother here never captures any other than English:pir-huzzah2:).

Thank you very much for sharing!

All the best,
Thorsten

You shouldn't be at all embarrassed for selling instructions - Lego does it every day for much smaller sets :) And this packs in SO MUCH more detail than a similar size official set.

Seriously, this is a fantastic little scene and extremely well executed.

I like this kind of builds and this one in particular.

This is also my favorite kind of train thing, simple but punchy :classic:

Fantastic, have seen so many filling stations over the years for steam locos but not diesel befor

I agree, sometime it's assumed that trains run without refueling

That's an amazing build, all of the small details are great and I really like the tiled surfaces and the height variations on the base.

The building is great, and the tank with all its little details like the wall around it and the handrail on teh gantry are astounding.

If I had a train layout, which a lot of others do, I would certainly buy the instructions.
