M_longer Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 (edited) An alternate model for 42122 Jeep Wrangler. Based on trophy trucks: Featuring front wheel steering, suspsension with shock absorbers on both axles and jerry cans ;) This model uses 100% of parts from 42122 set, with a little cheat for drum winch, used as a spacer under the spare wheel. The Wrangler does not come with many gears, but I managed to build a contraption allowing to have HoG steering by gear on the roof. There are two jerry cans instead of passenger seats : Doors can be opened: And here's the video: Instructions can be found at Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-62805/M_longer/42122-trophy-truck/ Sample pages: Edited February 4, 2021 by M_longer Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Very cool! I think the jerry cans are my favourite part. Quote
Jundis Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 What a great model! How many parts did you use? Quote
Kostq Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 He used all of the parts there. I wonder if the spares are used too. Quote
Johnny1360 Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Very well done, I like it very much, I dare say as much if not more than the A model. I have been looking at the A model for about two weeks now, really not liking it much, was about to rip it apart and attempt a B model myself but I may build this first now, thanks for sharing. Quote
gyenesvi Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 That's a great model, it's nice how well it mimics the car used as inspiration even at such a small scale, which is remarkable for an alternate build. Good reuse of the available pieces, and nice color consistency! This gave me some inspiration.. Quote

No, he fully fit into 100% of main parts with no one of spares used! I already have checked it and can confirm with Rebricable comparison page: Compare LEGO Sets/Lists - 42122-1 vs MOC-62805 | Rebrickable - Build with LEGO Update: damn! I didn't plan to have this set but now, seeing these amazing C-models... Edited February 5, 2021 by Void_S Quote
Jurss Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Really good C-model. I also really like those cans. Quote
Ivorrr Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Very cool! I like it more than the A-model! Quote
JintaiZ Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Looks great, especially for an alternative build! Quote
