Gomek Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 (edited) All, I just got a few new exclusive build a minigiure (BAM) figures and thought I'd share some pics. It seems like they are now regularly doing these figures and oddly enough they don't seem to be getting reported at all (at least not by any of the blogs I follow). Here are some pictures of the figures that I know of and some notes on them as not all pieces are exclusive. The nice thing about these is it does seem like they've produced enough of the actual pieces, as they seemed to be available well past the release time. if anyone has any corrections to the below information I will update this post. This is the newest set. Jack Frost seems to be completely exclusive as does the Valentine's Day Elephant. The Winter Girl's coat Is from the recent space line-up and I'm not sure about her head print. Her hat is an unprinted santa hat. Cat Ears Girl seems to be entirely exclusive, While Orange hair girl has a common head and the shirt from the CMF spooky boy. The other figure I typically see posted, Pumpkin Guy? has an exclusive head and shirt but I'm not sure about his pants, though I suspect they are common. Most of these were not released together as some of the other sets were. Blue Hair Clown I believe has an exclusive hair and head, but repurposed torso and pants. Baseball Girl has an exclusive torso and pants, and honestly I just guested at what head was appropriate. Dark Blue Wizard has a recolor torso and hat from the CMF line and an unprinted bottom robe. Personally I like this figure better with dark brown short legs, but clearly the dark blue piece was released to got with this figure. I believe the head is common. Mermaid I believe has exclusive hair and un-printed mermaid torso. I'm not sure about the torso. Mrs Clause is a recolor of her minifigure from the holiday set, and the Elf is a recolor from the CMF version. Neither head is exclusive. These are mostly exclusive recolors. Lady Vampire is an all exclusive re-color. I didn't actually see the Vampire pants at BAM but the original pants look much better than just the plain black ones that seemed to be put out for this figure. The Witches hat I believe is the same one from the Batman Scarecrow figure, and is not exclusive. It should also be noted they re-released the Scooby Doo jack-o-lantern head cover at the same time, but that did not seem to be related to a specific figure. These are a couple regional exclusives. Typically I'm not a fan of regional exclusives, but these seem to have been produced in high enough numbers to not be obnoxious. I believe the torsos are the only exclusive parts. These were also produced as magnets, but obviously the BAM versions are unglued. Edited February 6, 2020 by Gomek Quote

Are you already aware of this well-established topic in the Special LEGO Themes subforum? Edited February 5, 2020 by Digger of Bricks Quote
Gomek Posted February 5, 2020 Author Posted February 5, 2020 Yes, however I was really just talking about whole figures that seem to be getting released to go together. That topic seems to be mostly about random parts that are showing up. Feel free to move if you feel appropriate (and if you/anyone has the ability). I won't take offense. Quote

Well, maybe the General LEGO Discussion subforum could use a "BAM" topic of its own? Or, maybe "BAM" discussion topics should take place here rather than the Special LEGO Themes subforum? I don't know, but @WhiteFang or @Fugazi would be the ones to decide on these matters if they are of any importance... Edited February 5, 2020 by Digger of Bricks Quote
AmperZand Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 (edited) @Gomek, Please also see the thread in the History forum on the influence of other themes. The minifigure second from the left in this post uses the same torso and skirt as your lady vampire but was posted back in October. Edited February 6, 2020 by AmperZand Quote
Gomek Posted February 6, 2020 Author Posted February 6, 2020 yep, the Lady Vampire figure came out in 2018 as did the other 2018 Halloween figures in that photo. In 2019 those seemed to become available again and were later jointed by the 2019 figures. Quote
