Lego Night Lights

I've just acquired a pair of red Lego night lights. They're roughly the size of a standard single UK light switch with 4 led lights and look like a giant 2 x 2 brick. ( I've tried attaching a couple of photos but it seems I'm not allowed to.) Does anyone know when Lego produced these lights ?

The plain ones were available back in 2009/2010. There have been other licensed ones since then too.
