baddon Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Hello all, I know its not allowed to post for sale adds, but wonder if you can advise on good places to sell to collectors older (2010 to 2014) Technic kits. My eldest wants to liquidize his collection (he will likely regret it in a decade or so, BUT it is his. Thanks in advance, Andrew Quote

deraven Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 23 minutes ago, baddon said: WOW, thats a seriously confusing site Plenty of tutorials and help to figure it out, and it is your best bet (and worth figuring out in general). Otherwise, you could definitely put them up on eBay (especially if you're willing to ship internationally), and just set a Buy It Now price that he's OK with, so long as you're not necessarily concerned with a quick sale. baddon Posted November 12, 2019 Author Posted November 12, 2019 To all above advice, thanks. I will have a more in depth look. Thanks again. reading the Bricklink new seller verification, you have to 1 Register an account 2 buy and item and get positive feedback 3 then you can start to upload items to sell. Which means buying an item I dont want and hoping I get feedback, or am I making his more complicated than it actually is? Quote
brickless_kiwi Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Dare I say it your local Facebook market place Quote
Saberwing40k Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 http://www.minifigsandbricks.co.uk/ You might give these guys a try. On my side of the pond we have a franchise called Bricks and Minifigs, and they buy all kinds of stuff. You might not get as much as Ebay or Bricklink, but it is easier. I think you could also find other independent Lego shops in the UK, but there are brick and mortar stores that will buy used sets. Quote
baddon Posted November 23, 2019 Author Posted November 23, 2019 Thanks all. Using a combination of Local FB market place and Gumtree we have nearing half away (5 sets). I have also been able to buy a few missing parts to complete being able to change one from a B model to the A model using your links. Anyone a home for the larger 2 let me know (crane and logging truck) UK based. Quote
