PsychoWard666 Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 (edited) Hello, here is some photos of my new model, Eunos Roadster 1989 known in Europe as Mazda MX-5 or Mazda Miata in USA. I need some bricks in right colors and I need finish exhaust (I have done in Stud.io), than I will create Building instructions and I will upload to Rebrickable. Model has openable doors, hoods, pop-up headlights. On photos has VVT engine with ITB, but I also have genuine engine 1.6 or 1.8. Edited July 24, 2019 by PsychoWard666 Quote
Sven J Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 That's mightily impressive! Amazing how you translated the smooth, rounded shape into Lego. Quote
Lasse D Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 The level of detail in this model is astonishing! Very, very well done! It is also interesting to see you have modeled the drivetrain rather than the exhaust. It is often the other way around. Bonus points for all the half-stud offsetting and for modeling the triangles of the rear suspension. Quote
PsychoWard666 Posted July 28, 2019 Author Posted July 28, 2019 Tenderlok: Thank you so much! Lasse D: Thank you, I also modeled exhaust, but I didn´t have bricks for build it. Seasider Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 Thats a pretty good rendition of it, the bonnet line and lights are great and love the interior. Do you have any pictures of the mouth ? a very difficult area to capture I think your rear lights are a little off, the definition of them against the red is lost and they look a little small height wise I've got a modified version of @BrickMonkeyMOCs mx-5 as I've got a yellow car But otherwise a great MOC Quote
Jurss Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 Another one great example, that round forms are really possible recreate in lego. Quote
bamsham363 Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 I think you need to form the top of the windscreen tube a little, maybe with a wire inside the tube, small criticism I know, but love what you have done so far, will keep an eye on this one to see how it ends out Quote
