Tails's Racecar [Team Sonic Racing]

Bought the recent Team Sonic Racing game because I'm in desperate need of an arcadey racing game.

I'm glad to find out for myself that the negative reviews for the game are grossly exaggerated (as usual).

Sometimes I read people say that LEGO is cool but making MOCs or fan art can be overwhelming because of how many parts are out there.

While that's true to an extent, I counter that while there may be a staggering number of ways to build the same thing, there are only a handful of ways to build it so it actually looks good haha.

I think I got close to the original design here, and it doesn't totally suck, right?

The backpacks were the last thing I added because I couldn't figure it out. Luckily the stars aligned and I worked it out lol (they connect to the body with a 1x1 bracket)

Excellent work! I'd love to see you make more. I'm intrigued to see how Metal Sonic's car is made in Lego. I'd use the Speed Champions tyres with the standard wide wheels. (Kinda like the wheels on Joker's Lowrider from TLBM)

@RacerRabbit Other than Omega's ride, I'm afraid of tackling the other cars, so many round shapes haha

I think if I try the Sonic or Shadow cars they'll end up looking like my usual 8-wide super cars, but I may give it a shot

Metal Sonic's car is weird enough that I might get away with using weird pieces

Studying Metal Sonic's car a little more, it has a big cutaway section around the driver. Reminds me of the Flintstone's car where it's powered by his feet instead of an engine...which kinda makes sense!
