shadow_elenter Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 (edited) Hello gents! I love to destroy things, so an ultimate destruction machine was bound to happen. Enjoy! The left arm has a giant crusher claw for chopping structures down into smaller chunks and to do the more "delicate" work. And of course there's a bulldozer blade to tidy up the mess after wrecking a building. The right arm has a jackhammer to seperate pieces and weaken structures on key points. For the wreaking ball I used 2 old lego weights that together have some actual mass. I really wanted the outriggers to come out of the tracks, but this was a lot harder to realize than expected! The cabin raises with the boom, but it can also be set on the ground to remote control the machine. (didn't put it in the video because it's already REALLY long!) 3 battery boxes provide power to the entire MOC. The main turntable has a stand-alone PF system so it can turn freely. the turntable used is similar to the 42082 RTC. In total I used 18 motors controlled by 4 sbrick's and powered by 3 battery boxes. Hope you like it! Edited April 2, 2019 by shadow_elenter Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Really hoping this is what the Spider Crane will look like... Quote
Yevhen Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 I'm sure your machine can destroy a doghouse if necessary! Quote
grum64 Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 (edited) That’s one mean looking machine you’ve created. No one can ever accuse you of a lack of imagination or ambition that’s for sure. It’s brilliant. Edited March 29, 2019 by grum64 Quote
pagicence Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Cccccc. And you still haven't clean up the mess that tank made. You naughty fellow. As always, I enjoyed your video. Quote
technicbuilder Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Really nice looking future model ,well designd .I think it's gonne take a while before we will see a machine like this in real life . Quote
coinoperator Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Great design, not even impossible. Only thoughts are about the operator that really has a tremendous dangerous place there. .... if the wrecking ball swings back.... rip Quote
nerdsforprez Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Wonderfully creative. And functional! Even though you used actual mass in the wrecking ball I still would not have expected it to work so well. I do feel bad for the operator though. I hope he/she takes their Dramamine Quote
KD123 Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Thanks for sharing another great creation. As always your videos are amazing! Quote

I hope he/she takes their Dramamine Well, I did think about these things and actually made a solution for it. The cabin can be set on the ground by the boom and if you then pull the 2 hinge pins it releases the cabin so the operator can control the whole crane remotely. The Idea was that the operator has a perfect overview when operating the crane, claw, jackhammer or bulldozer and could still have a safe distance when the wrecking ball is used. The best of both worlds, however the video was getting way to long so I decided not to showcase that feature. Here are some pictures of this concept: Quote
mahjqa Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Another solid build. Would've preferred more slowmotion shots, maybe. Quote
shadow_elenter Posted April 6, 2019 Author Posted April 6, 2019 Well, actually I made a few more slow-mo shot's but the video was getting too long . I do appreciate the constructive criticisms though! Quote
