Hi everyone! Just wanted to share with you my creation. Me and my wife were watching Home Alone this Christmas and we got inspired to build McCallister's house with Lego :)

Hope you guys like it and for sure I will appreciate if you support it on Lego Ideas website (signature) or maybe share it. Have fun, filthy animals :)

that is amazing and great job on capturing the house. I concider3d building the house in a larger scale but for an ideas project this is a perfect size. I love how it fits on the same baseplates as the Ghostbusters firehouse if you exclude the tree.

Thank you guys! I was really trying to fit that 3000 pieces limit and with that scale - it was quiet difficult. I wish I had more pieces to make the outside look more detailed.

However as @cehnot mentioned - you can simply get rid of the tree and make outside things with those pieces instead :)

Really appreciate it @Boettner Builds ! Thanks for sharing )

Really great recreation with tons of creative little builds connections and parts usage throughout. What a joy to look at. Also really want those profile bricks in red brown now. Great MOC!

Thank you! It's my first MOC of that scale actually and 4-th MOC whatsoever :)

This is superb! I love how the "wings" of the house open to show the interior details! You even managed to include the little statue that keeps getting knocked over in the movie!

I see you have only twelve more supporters to go as of this post, and just in time for the holidays! :classic:

For some reason I've never seen this topic
Don't how the house looks like in the movie but it's a great build. Great to see all those booby traps and a lot details. Nice photography too. Funny too see all those 'scenes', especially like the one they hanging on the rope and he's waiting with a scissor.

Nice use of bricks too. I've also seen some bricks I don't know they exist. What are those bricks on the piano, on the side?

@Digger of Bricks Thank you! :) Yeah, I guess, with 491 days left it's safe to say WE did it!!! :) We have our celebrating cake ready here :)

@neonic Thank you buddy, I'm so curious what professional designers would be able to do with it! And that brick is 20310 )

THANK YOU FOR EVERY VOTE AND HELP WITH SHARING, YOU GUYS MADE IT! Now let's hope for another Christmas Miracle - the green light from review team! :)
Meanwhile, here is some Christmas mood for all of you :)
