Nothing more then a simple series of color swaps and repositioning and removal of some weapon systems.

But now my undersized Republic HAVw A6 Clone Turbo Tank is a slightly more to scale Imperial HAVw A5 Juggernaut

And as you can tell, I subscribe to the old idea that the smaller end is the "front". At least I can tell myself that's how Imperial drivers preferred to run them deino2.gif

It's just a shame that the wedged plate pieces don't come in black or grays...very dark blue was the best I could do *sceptic*

Very nice! *thumbup* I like this color scheme a lot better. As for the dk. blue pieces, why not compromise? If I build a duplicate and don't have pieces in the right color, I compromise! Sometimes it actually looks better than the right piece.

Yeah I tried that. I bought the pieces in every color they came in from Bricklink (not as many as you'd think) and stuck them all on there to see how they'd look. Then I tried substituting for different combinations of other pieces, but nothing looked right enough. So, dark blue it was. But I'm keeping an eye on things just in case LEGO ever does mold that part in dark blay *wink*

A very nice and almost realistic looking Juggernaut indeed, well done! *thumbup*

The only a little disturbing feature, perhaps, are these gaps on the sides.... for such a heavy armored vehicle.... *look*

Nice modding *thumbup*

But I've come to like the CTT design as it is since I bought it. Some paint sometimes makes a model look somewhat better because it's just different...

Anyway - Hoist the Imperial colours!!

Best regards, Benny

I've thought about adding some more armor to the sides to fix that. The tricky part is doing that so that it doesn't drastically alter the lines of the vehicle. Right now I'm just content that it fits in with my AT-ATs and the rest of my Imperial Army colorwise.

That, and I think the next step is to get the blue off my TIE Crawler so that that fits better as well *laugh*
