Hogwartus Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 I' ve made a scale model of semi-trailer truck with a trailer. It's in 1:60 scale, so wouldn't look out of place in a minifigure scale Lego City. But it is remotely controlled. Video: Functions: drive (truck RWD) - L motor steering (with right geometry) - Servo motor remotely openable trailer's cargo door - M motor Everything is controlled remotely using SBrick, powered by standard 8881 battery box. Internals of the trailer, door opening mechanism, battery box and sbrick were packed here: Please watch the video to see this machine in action and for more details. __________________________ Feel free to share your thoughts. I hope you liked this model. Quote
suffocation Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 What a wonderful model this is! It looks fantastic and I'm amazed at how you managed to keep it so small and yet fully RC. The way you integrated the servo into the cab is especially ingenious. Was that a black kitty towards the end of the video? Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Very nicely packed. I really like the door function. Looks like a lot of fun to play. Quote
Corrado Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Wow, very creative project! Cabin looks also intresting. ;) Quote
jorgeopesi Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Nice truck I always wanted to do something similar and have fun trying to park it. Quote
Aventador2004 Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Didn't notice the servo at first, nice job! Quote
