dtomsen Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 (edited) MODification of one of my favorite sets, 10027 Train Engine Shed. Probably designed 6 years ago and only slightly upgraded since Building instructions at snakebyte.dk Very high setting render from Stud.io Edited May 11, 2019 by dtomsen Quote
Vilhelm22 Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 Looks really good! I'd change 10027 for that changed version any day! Quote
Capparezza Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 (edited) Hello there, @dtomsen. This is looking really good. No dramatic changes to the original, as far as I can see, but some small improvements. And the colour scheme looks more appeasing to me. Do you have any idea about parts availability, can this be built from currently available bricks? (when I say currently available, I think about the official sources we have through LEGO, so either PAB or any means through the online shop) Edited July 18, 2018 by Capparezza Quote
dtomsen Posted July 18, 2018 Author Posted July 18, 2018 (edited) Most parts should be available currently, I think. Either through LEGO Pick A Brick, LEGO Customer Service (Bricks &Pieces/Buy Bricks) or BrickLink. And probably a bit cheaper overall than buying the original twice i.e. the reason why I modified it in the first place Those that are not available should be easily replaceable though. Like the old Trans-Clear Slope 33 3x6 on the roof. Just use black tiles on top of the newer Trans-Clear Slope 33 3x6 without Inner Walls and you should be fine Edited July 18, 2018 by dtomsen Quote
dtomsen Posted October 21, 2018 Author Posted October 21, 2018 (edited) Free building instructions by fellow Danish LUG member Knud Ahrnell Albrechtsen at snakebyte.dk. Beware that the base of the shed follows the MODUVERSE-standard but can easily be reversed back to ordinary baseplates and train tracks Edited October 21, 2018 by dtomsen Quote
