Lego 75004 Z-95 Headhunter modifications

Hi all

For any of you that own the Z-95 headhunter there is a large spring loaded missile underneath and I have no idea if it is in the real ship from the clone wars. I'm thinking of removing it and turning it into a cargo hold or something else because I'm not a fan of any of the spring loaded missiles or darts and anything along that line. Any ideas on that?

I remove all the spring shooter / stud shooters from my builds - I leave them on the kids ones - I usually fill them or plate the gaps, on my Z-95 I just filled it tbh.

I took apart the rear of the ship to remove the shooter, stuck a plate on the bottom to cover the hole, and converted the inside into a small cargo area.  I thought about sticking an astromech, but never ended up going with it.

It doesn't represent anything in universe. Maybe put in a drop-out engine?

Me neither, I also thought those shooter were just for fun, build as more as operational function they could, just like 7675 AT-TE contains many spring shooters, and we just put them away and replaced with good features.
