sasari Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Seeing a lot of the Polys and the like for sale on UK sites, where are they originating from? Seen the Batmobile, Batwing and Joker Training. Quote
Risgrynsgrot Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I've bricklinked some minifigs (and got the Joker Lowrider) and I have to say, wow LEGO has really outdone themselves when it comes to the minifigs in this series. Minifigs like Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy look amazing, so much detail, beatiful print, I'm speechless. Quote

BrickG Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) My review of Lego sanctioned child-aged gambling: For the first time I didn't "feel" for figures. I decided to gamble. What a foolish choice. I have like 45 now Lots of money wasted. Still no Joker or Catman. Lots of pointless doubles (especially pointless with this CMF series). Each time I got a NEW figure I loved it. Each time I got an OLD figure my heart sank. Pool Party Batman? AWESOME! Pool Party Batman? Oh no... Pool Party Batman? PLEASE STOP! I have 5 Rockin' Batmans... The only one I like having a lot of is the Lobster Batman. I switch his head for Iron Man, Wolverine, etc and they all have a relaxing party together. I will never gamble again. This has been a HUGE waste of money. But I'm an addict! I'm just going to do what I usually do and pay about 125-150% the price for all of the figures without the risk of doubles, triples, quadruples, octopules, whatever... Love the figures. 9/10 on them. Hate the gambling. 1/10. Edited January 27, 2017 by BrickG Quote

I've got a Smyths right next to my work (bad move.. for me!) but I'm trying to build up my VIP points for a big purchase in the future. Think I'll pick up the Lowrider when they release the polybag with the 2 Batmen in, then I've raised some funds after a clear out recently so I might pick up Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze and Clayface on another order and get extra Batmen . Same here Dean- I am definitely going to order the Batmobile from Amazon (as it's five pounds off and I've a voucher to spend) and then get the Lowrider when I visit the Leister Square store in February for the two Batmen Quote

Finally got let in and it was heaaaaaaving but really cool to see it all going on in there. Can't really get over the cost of the mosaic though. Which sets have you picked up so far? Quote

I've picked up the Clayface, Croc, Freeze, Riddler and Arctic Roller sets. In terms of CMFs I'm missing Dick, Batgirl, Glam Bat and Fairy Bat. Really impressed with the builds and figs thus far Quote
robertgorman2505 Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Quote Quote So far with the cmf, i am only missing pink power batgirl, mime and march harriet. Oh, and I plan to get the batmobile in February for the poly with disco bat and tears of a bat. Quote
Robianco Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) Nice work, Cap. I'm being patient on the polybags for now. I picked up the Croc set for the bonus 50 points at the Lego store which tops me up to £10 off the Batmobile during the bag promo next month. Just Clayface, Freeze, Penguin and Riddler sets to get then. Anyone know when the next Argos 3 for 2 is? Edited January 27, 2017 by Robianco Quote
Themadpatter Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 You think a forum about toys would be able to take itself less seriously haha anyway, I'm loving this mini figure series, my favourite yet. I adore the March Harriet Quote

I would have bided my time too but as my other half collects Lego key chains I wanted to pick it up for Valentines Day. Turns out she's been off work sick so she got it early as a cheering up surprise. Cost me £13 posted in the end so not quite as bad as it could have been. Time to bide my time for my own one to de-chain! Did you pick up the Lowrider? Really interested to see how that all goes together and works. Hopefully one isn't too far away, they usually do 2/3 a year don't they? Quote
koalayummies Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I'm a little surprised Lego made a figure of a character who is a sex worker or "escort". Wonder if they just thought it would be a great use of the bunny headpiece without digging a little deeper, like a rabbit. Links are safe, goes to jaysbrickblog and batmanwikia respectively for info on this somewhat obscure Batman character. Quote

RyanMe Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Just picked up the GCPD accessory pack at the Lego store. According to the workers, it just came out today for sale. Quote

My mouths were all normal. I guess I can make a rock band out of a lot of heroes that are Bat themed... Here's some relaxing: EDIT: This post is all messed up. I can't get rid of one of the quotes for some reason. Edited January 27, 2017 by BrickG Quote

retrotaco Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Eh, $12.99 isn't too bad, you do get three minifigs and some random pieces, that's not too much more than 3 CMFs :/ Quote

Yeah, I'm just trying to stay happy lol - before all the sets/CMFs got released I assumed it'd take a small fortune to get a bunch of Arkham suits and GCPD...but at least the CMFs helped with Arkham suits and female GCPD officers!
