Richpepperell Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Like most people I stocked up on Rogue One sets this Force Friday and was really pleased with them all. However, I soon realised I didn't have anywhere to display my new batch of minifigures, so set about building the imperial bunker briefly glimpsed in the trailers. I adopted a similar approach to the bunker from the battle of Endor, building the main facade and the doorway plus a tiny bit of terrain outside. I also incorporated what I thought would be the main features a genuine set of this sort (i.e. the Takodana set) would include - opening doors, collapsing tower and and a secret compartment to hide the death star plans. It's been dismantled again now due to shelf space, but it was a fun couple of hours of playing around. With a bit of flash to see the interior Quote
LaPasnaille Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 It has great shapes, a perfect size and good details, just seems amazing! Quote
Morangxs Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Definitely awesome! Now I'll wait for a diorama of the whole map! Quote
jhaelego Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 This is really nice! Great use of the death star plans piece. Quote
dimnico Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 This is great, I really like the shape and size. The trees look fantastic. I could really see this as an official set. What I especially like about all the rouge one Sarif builds is how refreshing it is to see a different style of location (beach) to what we usually expect with the Star Wars universe. I am building a micro Sarif scene at the moment (just waiting for a bricklink order) Quote
frikandeloorlog Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Really looks good, I should start making build videos of these kind of moc's as well. Quote
