Like most people I stocked up on Rogue One sets this Force Friday and was really pleased with them all. However, I soon realised I didn't have anywhere to display my new batch of minifigures, so set about building the imperial bunker briefly glimpsed in the trailers.  I adopted a similar approach to the bunker from the battle of Endor, building the main facade and the doorway plus a tiny bit of terrain outside.  I also incorporated what I thought would be the main features a genuine set of this sort (i.e. the Takodana set) would include - opening doors, collapsing tower and and a secret compartment to hide the death star plans.  It's been dismantled again now due to shelf space, but it was a fun couple of hours of playing around.

With a bit of flash to see the interior

This is great, I really like the shape and size. The trees look fantastic. I could really see this as an official set.

What I especially like about all the rouge one Sarif builds is how refreshing it is to see a different style of location (beach) to what we usually expect with the Star Wars universe.

I am building a micro Sarif scene at the moment (just waiting for a bricklink order)
