hachiroku Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 (edited) I think it would be a nice addition to the Old Fishing Store I made this around a year ago for a photo to recreate a scene from Jaws (a movie that I really like): Lego Jaws scene by hachiroku24, en Flickr I decided to rebuild it to add more details and to make instructions: Orca from Jaws (with instructions) by hachiroku24, en Flickr Orca from Jaws (with instructions) by hachiroku24, en Flickr Orca from Jaws (with instructions) by hachiroku24, en Flickr Edited October 8, 2016 by hachiroku Quote
Dazz Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I don't know how this compares to the source material but it's a nice little boat the way it is. Quote

lightningtiger Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Awesome design and this one won't have it's stern eaten by a giant shark.......Lego don't make them that size. Brick On 'hachiroku' ! Footnote - have you considered posting this on Lego Ideas it might have a chance ? Quote
Only Sinner Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 That's a fine boat and it really does somewhat resemble the Orca. This reminds me of the NES game Jaws. Do you remember that? Would be a cinch for LEGO Ideas as they seem to be going crazy for '80s licences now, something like this would be a shoe-in for Ideas. Quote
carebear Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Love this!!! Great colours, Great Shape, Great Work!!! Greetings Quote
Man with a hat Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Oh wow! that's a really wonderful creation. Shape, size and colours are spot on! Quote

The problem is that a Ideas project requires time to be promoting it. Making, new photos, videos and more stuff if you want to reach something. I don't have that time right now. I prefer to dedicate the free time I have (I'm in my third year of Physics, so you can imagine...) to my YT channel. But after Christmas I want to do something different, so, probably, I will start an Ideas project or something. Quote
koalayummies Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Well done, it is very accurate! And great color choices as well. I'd love to build it someday. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Amazing fishing boat! Very well done! This MOC looks like the original ...I love it! Quote
Littleworlds Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Very nice! And pretty much spot on! Quote
Ben Andrews Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 I find this incredibly lush. Your shaping is great and colour matching is very tidy. Feel like adding a brick built shark at scale? Quote
ecmo47 Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 That is a lovely little boat but it looks like the back should be a couple studs longer to match the source material. Great job on the design! Quote
BuildingQuality Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Awesome build with great deatils :) my heart locked :) Quote
Oysterboy13 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Hi where can I get the list of all the peices used to recreate the replica?? Please email me at mcv19533@icloud.com. TYIA Quote
Johnny1360 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Ha instantly recognized this boat, great job. I do agree though, the back should be a little longer. It looks more like the boat after Jaws chomped the back off of it. Regardless excellent work. Quote

Ex cinno Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Great work, It's so realistic that I seem to be there on that boat. Quote
