feuri Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 After not playing with LEGO for a few years, I've recently taken some of it from my parents place with me and started building my first MOC. I'm happy with the proportions so far, but I'll probably redo the front and cabin. The fifth-wheel coupling should be working and is manually lockable, but I haven't tested this with a trailer yet. The cabin is tiltable and stays in place once opened. The Truck is currently powered by two hard-coupled XL motors connected to the center axle. I'm not sure yet whether to use two motors and an adder or just one. I only have a single differential right now, otherwise both axles would be powered. Steering isn't controllable right now, I need to get a PF servo first. You can't really see it in this picture, but the ground clearance is only about 1/4 stud. I've also build a simple ramp for use in the trailer, which is controlled by a mini-LA. Photos are taken with my phone, so the quality is not the best. Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Welcome here at Eurobricks and you first moc(creation) is a good start Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 That truck is a great start! I like how everything is paneled over, with almost no gaps. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Welcome indeed and a nice start! Quote
grum64 Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 A very warm welcome to Eurobricks feuri. That's a great first MOC you've built. I'll be following this with great interest. Quote
M_longer Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 I'd rebuild fifth wheel, because now it is strong as that connection between grey and black connectors. 2L axle has chances to slip from the one of them. Quote

I agree, is there enough room to mod it to connect beneath? It looks good, welcome! Just now, Aventador2004 said: Edited September 22, 2017 by Aventador2004 Quote won't remove! Quote
1gor Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Wellcome on Eurobricks forum. For first model (posted here) I can only say good job (in development) Quote
dagupa Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Looking at the pictures my mind immediately started thinking: It's time to play EuroTruck Simulator :) Hope to see how this MOC develops over time. Welcome to EuroBricks Quote
