TheNerdyOne_ Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) Recently I discovered the design that was planned to be used for a refit of the NX-01 for Enterprise season 5 before the show was cancelled, and I fell in love with it immediately! So I thought it would be fun to make a LEGO version, especially since I haven't really found a decent LEGO NX-01. I made the refit version first because I liked it so much, but it didn't take much modification to convert it back to the original design. M2m Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Looks great! Willing to share the LDD file for this ? Quote
Littleworlds Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Clearly a step towards TOS-era! Very good interpretation Quote
Jacob Nion Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I know the refit version from Star Trek Online and it is indeed a wonderful design. I love how it fits the role of a link between the NX and the Constitution class by adding the hull section. It must have been fun to build the one design right from the other. Good work! Perhaps you are now interested in building the Discovery from the upcoming new tv show of the same name? I would love to finally see a model of it. Quote
BrickJagger Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Nice work! I like how you made the engines. Quote
Forresto Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Absolutely gorgeous! The ship that never was but shouldve been Quote
mortesv Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Great work! Did the refit really have two deflector dishes? It seems like the concept weren't completely finished since two deflectors would clearly result in a lot of interference ;) Quote
Lego Otaku Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Didn't watch the last few season so I don't know about 2 deflectors but it would be easy to turn off older one and not take it out. Quote
jmn610 Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 This is an amazing model. Do you by chance still have the file for it? Quote
