TheLegoPerson9 Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 (edited) Bosozoku is a rather interesting style of custom car in Japan. They tend to be over the top, exaggerated, and kind of ridiculous, but I think it's pretty unique and interesting. It was a spur of the moment thing, but I tried to make one out of Lego. Here's the current version at this time: Yeah, the exhausts are supposed to be somewhat like that, as per what I've seen in photos of real life Bosozoku cars. Rolls rather nicely, though the front section that's sticking out is only attached with 2 studs, so I've got to figure out a way to make it so it's more sturdy. Other than that, I am very, very happy with how this turned out. Please tell me what you think, and I hope you enjoy! Edited June 20, 2016 by TheLegoPerson9 Quote
Naptown11 Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I think that it is a pretty good iteration of a Bosozoku, especially the elongated/exaggerated front splitter. If you like cars go check out the McLaren F1 that was just posted, its one of the best I've seen. I'm not sure if a lot of people here will know about Bosozoku cars but I could be completely wrong, either way nice job with the quick build. Quote
ER0L Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Nice, though I think the design (and photography) can be improved. Quite a rare subject, but I remember a Bosozoku car by Chris18RT uploaded on EB some years ago: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=67983. Maybe you can use it as an inspiration.
