Hello there! I don't own the set, but in my opinion it is nothing spectacular piece-wise with its 1200 rather common white/trabs bricks. Nothing you wouldn't get on bricklink for a fraction of the price. The sorting tray and the guide book might be the only really interesting parts of the set really.

I think getting a "normal" book on architecture, plus looking at Lego MOCs for interesting techniques will probably be just as useful.
